I thought I'd track how this season's City team does in comparison to two other teams with connections to this year's team.

Firstly, there is the Bradford City team of 1981/82, a team we pay tribute to with this season's home shirt and a team we would hope to emulate this season. The 1981/82 City team finished as runners up, in this division, with an impressive 91 points.

Then there is the Morecambe team of 2020/21, the team that Derek Adams took to promotion against all the odds. Morecambe narrowly missed out on automatic promotion, finishing 4th with 78 points, before going on to win the play-offs.

So we have the City team of 2021/22, led by Derek Adams. Let's see how they match up against their own history and their manager's record.
