Rahic had no idea he might sack Collins four days before he did?

If Rahic figured Collins had one more game in charge, why would he let him make such a crucial decision?

Im sorry but you are so wrong about this. Some peoples hatred of Edin is quite simply clouding their judgement. This was not his decision no matter what you want to believe.

 

The rumours Killa was being forced out started weeks before he actually left.

 

I know.

Maybe the puppet had some dealings with it, but Collins literally said in the T&A ten days before he left that Killa was still in his plans, was a squad player, and there was no issue.

Whether he was allowed to play Killa or not is another matter entirely.

This is a chap who refuted the fact Rahic used gagging orders, instead using the much more innocent, mundane 'standard legal practice' that is a confidentiality clause...

... Which is the exact same thing, just a slightly nicer name.

Some people need to dress things up in a different way, but ultimately, same thing.

 

How do you know Collins was telling the truth?

 

The discussion with Killa had been going on for some time and it had to be completed by the day it was done. It couldn’t be delayed until the day after never mind the following week

 

All he had to do was assure Killa Collins would be gone if we didn't win.

Of course its patently clear Rahic had no intention of retaining either.

 

And risk not being in the new managers plan whereas he had a deal lined up in Scotland

 

He had a deal here already.

Obviously you are free to believe Collins and Collins alone wanted rid of Killa... I just doubt he ever held that kind of sway.

Killa is just one of many who had to go.

 

And if we'd won? The transfer deadline would have passed and Killa would still be stuck on the sidelines.

He did and he could quite easily have just sat back and seen his contract out whilst the club wasted thousands on a player that was never going to feature again. But credit to the guy, he wants to play so he is by far and away the better person, regardless of whether it was Collins, Rahic or both that were responsible for him leaving.

 

Thanks Jon, I was beginning to think I was living in a parallel universe. @City-since-67 is catagorically defending Rahic with his ‘nothing to do with me’ Collins is now being blamed for getting rid, but also being a liar. I think your version of events make more sense.

 

He was probably looking further forward. If he didn’t play all season then he would struggle to find a club next season

I respect that people are keen to take Rahic at face value, but it doesn't make any sense in my opinion.

'That' photo clearly demonstrates that all of Macca's 'lads' have gone.

Its not a coincidence, and Collins didn't orchestrate any of it.
