    Almost all his goals were headers.

    I can't remember the stat banded around at the time, but yeah, just headers more or less.

    I remember watching last night on quest and seeing him miss those sitters, and I just thought what on earth. Alot of his goals were, as said, headers, but he would of scored at Least one of them at city! I don't think he will be coming back on loan, he is good enough for a mid table team, maybe someone like a Fleetwood

    He has a dry spell towards the end of his tenure here but... when he first signed he looked Championship quality at times ... I remember I was in Tenerife and he scored a Garrick against Bristol rovers live on Sky

    Guy was on fire ...... you have will grigg now. I doubt wyke will come back here even on loan :(

    Only if you're judging them on their hold up play and how many headers they win, which is how our fans seem to judge strikers strangely.

    And I bet you’ve seen some bad strikers in your time?

    He’s getting in the right positions at least. Had no pre season, got a bad injury and is playing with an expectancy now with a decent price he came to you for.

    He was never a world beater at city. But was good in the box and linked up well at times. However under McCall we played good football and it wasn’t lumped up to him too much.

    I don't think he's won a header yet. Whether that be from a goalkeeper long ball or a cross into the box. While typing I've realised he missed an open goal with a header the other week.

    Those players played all of their games or most of their games in the Premier League. What an awful way to start my Monday morning by being reminded of those people though.

    Similar to those, Danny Graham is probably one of the worst I've seen for us in the Premier League despite his work rate and effort, however when se signed for Blackburn in L1 he was fantastic. He is doing alright in the Championship too.

    In my opinion, Wyke tops it, purely due to the level of football we're at in comparison to many other poor strikers I've seen play for us.

    Wyke and Doyle would tear League Two apart.

    Not going to happen though.

    Wyke has had two decent moves, for money, and regardless of what Sunlun think of him, he will be on a packet. If Sunlun go up, it will be a wealthy ish League One side he moves to.

    Bear in mind we can't even compete with Scunthorpe....

    Agreed. I was really excited by the signing of him too. Had a look at his stats in League One before joining BCFC and they're not impressive. Perhaps he's a one-club man at this level.

    How? I'm suggesting it'd help his confidence going back to a team he played well for. Surely that's good for all parties involved?

    I doubt he'd want to drop to a League Two team (if you get relegated) however as at the start of the season his aspirations were probably to play in the Championship next season.

    I can't remember any more than 2 and I was in the ground the full 90 minutes. He's missed sitters in other games too though so he could be referring to those.

    But nobody has asked about his form. Your suggestion he come back to us on loan if we stay up is ridiculous tbh. We have visitors on this site from other clubs normally when we are playing them, but they usually discuss city issues.

    Your lot were booing him off the field not that long ago, reading your forum most couldn't wait to see the back of him. A few good games and he's the best thing since sliced bread. He'll be shite again i guess when he's had a couple of bad games.

    Neither could I. I say this in the OP. He's improved. He's winning every header and chasing down every loose ball, complete opposite of how he was before. Perhaps his injuries didn't help.
