Reading Truemans views regarding having a settled system throughout the club so that players can move up through the age groups, I do not think we will be making a massive tactical change overnight from the set up they have used since taking charge to a 4-4-2 system.

 

I agree but I'm not sure if it's a strength or a weakness.

With our current squad it perhaps makes more sense to have an extra option just in case of injuries to our key personnel.

It is a worry that some players who have been injured have almost disappeared. No improvement on the situation regarding Novak, Hosannah, Ismail etc. Don’t see cooke being back in 6 weeks time

 

What the hells happened to Reece Staunton??
Was supposed to be back playing now, came through the ranks as a defensive midfielder, could be long term the missing link. Complete radio silence from the club as to his rehab and when he’ll be back.

 

I think I read some posting he'd had a set back with his injury.
