I didn’t bother watching the game, but just seen the highlights. It’s similar to what that sub Man City keeper did in the FA Cup. Just shows it can happen to anyone. Probably down to the fact that MH has tried to change the way we play at the back. Takes some getting used to, especially if you haven’t really got the skills!

Or that Man City keeper is just crap as well, as we saw when we got Liverpool and Bayern Munichs former number two’s it counts for little unless you’re first choice, players improve most by playing that’s where it is so hard for keepers and why many number two’s are so crap.

If Steffan wasn't a good goalkeeper and good with his feet then Pep would have got rid of him a long time ago. Ederson who is the best in the world with his feet nearly got caught out against Liverpool, Allison got caught out a couple of years ago. Goals like this will become more common with more and more teams playing out from the back forcing keepers to take risk where they wouldn't before

Pep who brought in Scott Carson? Back up keepers are often cheep, the fact you’re talking about an error from years ago shows how good Allison is, I can think of plenty of errors in the last few months with Bass. You’re right they are becoming more regular goals to concede but not so regular that the keeper shouldn’t put it down as a massive howler.
