Missing a trick if they don’t. I find it’s always a touch harder finding a spot on at an evening game.

I park at the railway station £4 for the day no problems , although to be fair i have a picture of the wife in full view on the dashboard , seems to deter most criminals .

This is to gauge interest. Would people be willing to pay £4 per car for a manned car park on hillam road?

Possibly, my main issue at the moment is the walking distance for my 90 year dad. He wont admit it, but I have noticed the last few months that he is struggling with the walk from our years long parking positions on either Canal Road or Kings Road. Hallam Road would not be much nearer really, unless it is at the Bolton Lane/Queens Road end of Hillam Road Ind Est?

I parked in Broadway last night for the first time. £1 for safe secure parking. Decent.

I would. The main issue for me is that it's manned. After my car was broken into on the streets around VP I decided to park in the midland road car park, nievely believing that because I'd paid my car would be safe. Unfortunately the operators are bandits at best and at worst, well, I have my suspicions.

A paid, manned and secure car park within reasonable distance of VP would for me, be worth every penny of the £4.

Can you say manned these days? Some snowflake will have you for that if you put that on a sign.

I usually park in Broadway, keeps the car safe and as I’ve normally had 2&1/2 hours in the car driving down gives me chance for a wonder around before walking up to VP. When I was a kid back in the 80’s my dads car got done a couple of times along Queens Rd / Bolton Lane and I remember my brothers car got done on the night we drew 1-1 with Sheff Wed in the league cup in 94 parked on Cape Street

Here's a tip; I went to a family funeral a while back and I keep the Order of Service in my car. When I park I always place this clearly visible with the date obscured. As well as the alarm and and a robust security arm across the steering wheel; this little sign "adds a degree of reassurance" for me. I reason that even the most heartless thieving Bazza (and we've got plenty in BradfirdISbad) might have half a heart and do the next one ?

How naïve is that Ray. A robbing bastard is a robbing bastard. It's probably more down to the shite car you drive.

It's the same if you put a disabled badge on your car. They'll still nick whatever is in the car, including the badge too.
