Noticed a car on Kings Road, by entrance to B&M, had been broken into during the game. Passenger window had been put through and alarm was going off.

First one I've seen for a good few weeks.

A sickner! I park near the end of Lumb Lane, have done for years, thankfully never been touched. I have nothing on view and in fact never really have anything of worth in the car. The reality is no one should have this happen to them.

Classic Bradford really, if its not nailed down they'll have it and if it is they'll have the nails as well

I had mine done over last season. It ruined the electrics as they ripped out central panel. Lots of things never worked right after and alas, my trusty jalopy went for scrappage last month. Would not wish it about anyone, even visiting Millwall fans.

The B&M road seems to be particularly bad for it. I know some other streets have been hit, but that particular road has seen many instances of such activity.

Wouldn't park there if my life depended on it, sadly; nowhere is safe in reality, but we try to stick our cars on the absolute busiest roads possible.

It happens in every town and city in the UK. It's not Bradford specific

Is that a nonsense statement, or are you sure there are 92 football grounds around which cars are always broken into?

Bradford is 8th in the UK stats, the top four are all London boroughs, followed by Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. Basically we no worse off than any big northern city bar Sheffield where all cars are nicked and "pooled" like Boris bikes anyway.

I leave my car unlocked here in northern Scotland. Valuables right on show.

Kings Road is a very busy road, probably with exception of Manningham Lane and Queens Road it is probably one of the busiest road the ground.

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to stop them, but to be honest I’ve probably only seen half a couple done there this year which is why it was a surprise

On the rare occasions I've had to drive to VP myself - I generally park at the bottom of Apsley Crescent off Manningham lane - Touch wood, never been touched (Best to arrive about 45/30 mins before KO) - Only issue I ever had (Some may recall, BLUSH ) - Was 'losing' it just after I bought it !!
Yet lately, I am dropped off, and collected at the ground. :)

Does anyone know whether they still open that car park on Midland Rd. If so, is it a safe bet?

Not sure if it is still open but it wasn't manned once the game started so no real extra security

Park outside my house, I live close to the ground. However I'll be at the game, so it's at your own risk!
