The pub trade has had it nationally, its not just Bradford . Cheap supermarket deals don't help, people can not afford £3 a pint
although , stupidly i paid £5.50 for a can at odsal 80's weekend last friday, captive audience and all that.

Malt Kiln is up for lease as well, think it is currently closed. Only pubs left are on the old crawl are Swing Gate and Lane Ends,

Yep. One of the nurserys is doing well and the other started well but is going down hill rapidly since it was taken over by a larger chain.

Closed, sold, planning put in for change of use. Apparently the money to buy it was raised in a month from donations.

Blimey, some right pubs there, sad to see them go, had my first drink in the Fire Brigade, also a lot of time spent in The White Horse up Great Horton Road, then moved to Undercliffe and was almost a permanent fixture in the Hare & Hounds/Malt Kiln, also spent hours in the

I must admit I do enjoy a blonde (behave). A friend of mine brewed one and it was a cracking pint. Also did a Helles lager which was very nice. Same lad also got a crate of lager from Saltaire brewery after he questioned some bottles he'd got from them. He showed me all three bottle and each one had a different look when poured even though they were all the same. To be be fair he's very good at it, got his cellar all kitted out, even designed his own bottle washer.

I enjoy the Blonde…it’s nice. We had a guest Saltaire brew at our village Beer Festival before the pandemic. Got a pint….boy was it nice, went back for another , a pint later and the barrel had sold out. Grrrrrr!
