Cheers mate all looking good both are out and in a side room just a matter of seeing how the kidney reacts (wakes up) its quicker from a live donor they say, the surgeon told them with it being a very good match and coming from a live donor they are all pluses, we knew it would be a long journey how ironic her husband was the best match. I'd like to thank everyone again for their best wishes it's times like this you realise although we may disagree on many things, things like this bring the best out of us all, thanks again.

 

Thanks guys and gals the ward sister has just rung saying Sharon is in recovery, very tired, so now we know shes safe I'll shoot up and catch the second half.....................................not really more like having a couple of beers.

My youngest was driving passed Horsfall Stadium and said she'd never seen the area as full with cars, there were a few pictures of the stadium and it look well full, mostly in Claret & Amber , hopefully Sparkie and his backroom staff were happy with what they saw.

Anyway, in the scheme of things it’s all irrelevant. The best result of the evening was Bronco’s daughter coming through surgery. Hope it was a success.

Friday night, few beers before the game, game of footy with no stress attached to it and a few more beers after the game....ideal evening!!

 

Maybe instead of the government and local councils constantly asking us to use public transport instead of driving could actually give us a public transport system that's fit for purpose.

I have absolutely no trouble using buses and trains all over Europe yet over here, apart from the London underground, I wouldn't even dream of it unless I was drinking.

Both parties have been in government whilst I've been old enough to vote and I'm yet to witness a public transport system that is even close to anything in Europe.

This isn't something for political point scoring, this is an issue EVERY government has failed on.

 

Can't make it mate my daughter is in St James Hospital having a kidney transplant donated by her husband so no word as yet how its going, Pauls out and in recovery but not my daughter, we were hoping she would be out of surgery by 6pmish unfortunately she was later going down.

Have to disagree with you on this point. I think the club had been a mess during the whole time he's been with us. The vitriol towards most of the players (including him) was bad. The atmosphere inside the ground was as bad as its been in a while. I don't blame him one bit for wanting a fresh start. He was criticised heavily as being one tackle away from a red card (myself included), so on reflection it's probably the best move for everyone. There's no doubting he gave his all, including his front teeth, so good luck to him. I personally hope he does well. He owes us nothing.

They couldn't give a shit what public transport is like in West Yorkshire, and don't care where you can/can't get to - Boris sent that message loud and clear!

If people want to go spend an evening watching a game of football why is it pointless ?

 

Completely agree about this particular government but what it all comes down to is that they ALL lie. We've just forgotten about the past ones as memories fade and the recent lies take over.

It's like some sort of sick merry go round where one politician after another becomes PM on promises built on lies them, when they inevitably fail to deliver, try to lie their way out of it.

 

Noticeable things about tonight's game. Lots of ball on the floor-no hoof ball.

Lots of crisp interplay-movement off the ball- and some PACE right across the pitch when we broke when their attack broke down. Every player knew where they should be when we were in possession. Always a man spare to take a pass. Dare I say it we actually looked organised.

Chapman took his goal well and Harratt was in the right place at the right time to get the ricochet and the ball bobble over the line.

Walker was absolutely taking the game seriously. Bollocking the defence when they let a player go past them, pushing one of their lads out of the way at a corner and moaning like buggery all the time. VOCAL. We need that.

Is that the largest crowd at this fixture does anyone know? There were lads behind me that had just come to see MH not even City or BPA fans.
