4 games against teams who are on the beach and one against a side who are on the verge of non league football vs two teams that are going for promotion and another two that may need the points mmmmmm

 

Much better result and performance today helped by Sutton who went for it which suited us down to the ground. Some lovely wing play from Banks and chapman and a great performance from Walker. More of the same please

 

I agree. Rochdale and Northampton are the trickiest matches we have, assuming that Leyton Orient will have secured promotion/champions by then. Crewe's form is dire. Swindon are so so at the moment with Jody Morris finding his way in his 1st managerial position.
Beat Rochdale on Saturday and we are well placed in my view

 

Orient will be up by then and this is a far different City to the one both faced .........I recall Northampton being lorded as champions on here because we never turned up in either game ......... I honestly fancy our chances against anyone now ........... we are on a long unbeaten run .........Cook is actually not the only one getting goals now and who knows what injuries the other teams may pick up over the next few weeks ......... Platt should have been a big miss today and he wasn’t ............ out of the chasing pack I fancy us and Stockport to get over the line

 

Leyton Orient won’t be on the beach they will want to go up as champions.

As for Northampton it’s their last home game and might need the win to go up
Automatically.

We play Crewe and Swindon away. It won’t be easy.

Plus playing a team on the beach means they can play with freedom.

 

On paper Stevenage have a good run in apart from Mansfield away but they ain’t won in 5 games so could be another side that have hit the buffers at the wrong time of the season, and we all know how difficult it is to get back on track if your not winning games

 

So you don't give this team any hope of automatic promotion at all? Why do you give up so easily? Glad our team doesn't. You should be ashamed waving the white flag so easily so often.

 

you don’t think they will be up as champions by the time they play us btw I would rather play a team that are on the beach than a team that are fighting for something ............. course they can play with freedom but is the hunger there to go along with it ????? Not at all they are probably thinking ahead to next season and avoiding any long term injuries ............ a lot of these players will be out of contract anyhow so won’t give a shite to be honest

 

anyone that continues to pull a player on 27 goals to bits is deffo a seeker of attention

I think we have a chance.

 

100% agree - exactly what I was saying after Fridays game whilst others were more dismissive. However I’ll give nothing but credit for todays response. Really got to make sure it isn’t in vain and is followed up on. Approach the remaining 6 games in a similar fashion, with the same heart and intensity, and let’s see……

 

Goes to show others around us are prepared to do whatever they can to get the results they need. Why Crawley was so frustrating.

We need to make sure we do the same, like we did, for every minute of the next 6 games.

 

Barrow away for them will be a tough game ........ just imagine us having the chance to deny our nearest and dearest promotion we would want to beat them at all costs

 

Orient will be Champions by the time they visit Valley Parade, there will be twists and turns before the seasons end but with an 8 point cushion (9 points with GD) and a game in hand over 2nd and 3rd teams they would have to have a disastrous finish to their season and their form this season doesn't suggest that will happen.

 

Pete Wild has done a magnificent job at Barrow and even though I think getting into a play off place will be very difficult as you say they will be up for the local derby.

 

Ah but did you enjoy the demolition of Sutton ?.

 

Either way I don’t think they will come to us and roll over .
