Is Platt having a poor game in terms of passing accuracy or is he always this bad?

 

Credit the save but Cook HAS to bury that. He shouldn’t even give the keeper a chance from there

Every player has been poor tonight at times with passes due to the weather

 

No mate, I'm on about the aimless hoofs and punts up the pitch. They should at least be able to kick it into the general vicinity of one of the forwards. Our punts have been panicked and with the aim of just getting the ball up the pitch. Kelly and Platt especially so.

 

A winner in the last minute will do nicely

 

We've gone off the boil unfortunately. Little threat in the last 10 minutes. They look the more likely.

We'd have been better keeping Smith on and not bringing Oliver on and freshening up the midfield.

Shout out to the ground staff for getting the pitch ready, took a lot of effort from the sound/look of it.

Yep, a point is not a bad outcome. And for those who will come out with the “nothing less than 3 is good enough”, fine but all things considered, not too bad.

 

Good result in the end but that was extremely sloppy in the last 15. Cook should have done better, in my opinion, but a draw against Stockport is decent.

Nothing down the left absolutely killed us. Ridehalgh is awful and made it hard for Oduor down that side. Without having a left side attack, it restricted Halliday from pushing up as he normally does and the yellow card for Gilliead meant he was never gonna be effective after that on this pitch.

Oliver, for a big man, gets pushed around every game he comes on. Would have rather stuck with Smith

 

Its a good point hard won. The bad result was letting Morecambe get a point

 

As 0-0 games go, that was one of the more enjoyable. Fair play go every one in a shirt tonight for the effort and navigation of the conditions. A good point, all things considered. 3-4 of the right signings in Jan, and we could have a crack at the playoffs.
