He's doing OK or rather he's doing what is expected of him. His set pieces have been poor again though aside from the last one.

Yes, Wright needs to be gambling a bit more and pushing on to take the defence with him and create more space even if he doesn't get the ball. He's looking a bit like Dion Pereira for me- he looks like a good player but his best position isn't really clear and he's just not having enough impact on the game.

 

hope its not Pointon ....he is running like the wind through them creative and end product...... superb lad

Just my thoughts on today's game, but as you say overall he's been a disappointment.
I'm baffled what Wright offers today where he's playing, anyway I have us down for a 4 - 0 win with Kavangh, Cook, Walker and Cook again half way there.

Have to disagree with you, Cook was on his way down before the defender got within a foot of him.

Not quite true. Rewind it. The defender's right foot kicked Cook's right shin. Cook was expecting it and fell over a bit theatrically.
