Decided this time to stay at home and watch on i-follow last night after seeing the forecast. I love driving and always have, but with age something has happened to my vision and night time driving in light rain/ drizzle is becoming tiresome. I have a 20+ mile home journey and what certainly does n't help is the increasing number of cars with bright white (halogen?) headlamps that dazzle in rain even on low beam!

 

I fully understand that I hate it as well. I was there last night but thankfully not driving

 

The other factor is the height of the lights have got higher as modern cars have got bigger. Poor old me in my low down Octavia.

Its not a criticism, just a reply to @Old Grey Fox saying there's nothing like being there, I'd never criticise any fan for not attending. once in our seats weather wise it was not as bad as many may have thought, and as you know being at the game you get that buzz that watching on the TV doesnt give you.

No they are LED lights . Far and away too bright. I have matrix on mine and they pixilate out oncoming or ahead traffic so the drivers don’t get blinded. The modern day LED’s especially when switched in older cars for halogen are bloody awful.

Last night their keeper was obviously unhappy but that doesn't give him the right to go around damaging someone else's property, very little respect shown doubt he will get his knuckles slapped still I bet his back was sore this morning after picking the ball out of his net four times.
