Our wingers don’t seem to ever cross tbh, most crosses come from the full backs which is still rarer than rocking horse shit. I think the tactic comes from the manager not players as most of the time they will just cut inside with the full back offering an option. It works okay when Banks plays as he’s good at cutting inside and shooting and when we had Wright, but not sure we have the players now, that said we have changed shape.

Sutton is literally a direct replacement for East and could have carried out that role rather than bringing on a winger and having to alter the shape.

Not good enough to start, I agree, but both would have been better options to see out that game than Nevers and Chapman were. Poor subs that cost us the win.

The home crowd needs to wake up and get behind the team.
Mansfield are bringing a big, noisy away support.

Unbelievable isn't it? For large parts of that game Harrogate played the better football. Some of the stuff i read on here has me shaking my head.

Against a team who has just won three on the trot and have beaten us nearly every time we played them. The sort of team who beat us every time so yes they put they put in a very good lower league performance for our first home win in months

As @Bigrod@Bigrod is fond of saying, win your home games and draw your away. If you only average 2 points at home it does mean you need to average two away and we are nowhere near that, hence my response to Park

Spot on J. You don’t need to win all your home games or draw all your away. It is the cumulative number of 84 points which equals automatic promotion. A team on that form will win several games away, may draw very few at home, and even lose one. The target of 84 is the one.

Mmm 42 points will mean you won’t need a 2nd season as you will already have been relegated!;)

If he is well/fit enough to play then it is an absolute no brainer he starts.
We have have well paid experienced staff behind the scenes to assess Cooks condition to start or not. If he starts on the bench I will be fuming, I for one have been a huge advocate of letting MH get on with it, but if a player is fit enough for the bench then he's fit enough to start, and i'm absolute puzzled currently how Cook doesn't get in a L2 team that's struggling for goals.

Never get bored of reminiscing about Robbie Blake. The most technically gifted player we've ever had. OK ok Chris Waddle and Carbone weren't bad but Blake was off the scale.

No sorry, good for their timeI agree , but can’t hold a candle to Mills and Blake. Don’t forget they were CC level as well.

Clayton different class in midfield, him and Gilly making it look. Easy we still need another goal.

Well played all across the park. Deserved lead and cohesive play. It's all we've wanted really, take the game to the opposition. This is our backyard...

Great to have midfielders who want to carry the ball forward, got to go on and finish the job off now.

Is it the depth or the choice in changing a trio that were probably our three best players on the day? The moment we changed the formation we looked weaker. Oliver would have been a better choice than Chapman, at least giving us a long ball outlet.
