    Tomorrow's referee, Alan Young, doesn't seem to like the home team to win. Only 3 of his 16 league matches this season have ended in a home win. He also likes to flash his cards.

    Happy to compare notes at the end of the season.

    Because if Smallwood, still ranked as one of L2's best players this season plus Clayton cannot give midfield dominance, then I don't who can.

    And it's midfield dominance that win matches in L2 - unfortunately, entertaining fast wingers are rarely a factor.

    We'll see.

    No. Defence (rock solid) stops you losing games……to win them you have to score goals (okay some defenders can score, but our defenders?).

    So whoever posted that, was slightly myopic!:eyes:

    If he is well/fit enough to play then it is an absolute no brainer he starts.
    We have have well paid experienced staff behind the scenes to assess Cooks condition to start or not. If he starts on the bench I will be fuming, I for one have been a huge advocate of letting MH get on with it, but if a player is fit enough for the bench then he's fit enough to start, and i'm absolute puzzled currently how Cook doesn't get in a L2 team that's struggling for goals.

    I pray your right but based on we've seen all I can see is Costello has to start per loan agreement, I so hope I'm wrong as the kid may come good but right now he's not what we need.

    You said "best midfield three". I never singled out Smallwood so perhaps there's a part of you that thinks he's currently underachieving?
