Well, kick off 6:30 a.m my time, I have to be at school for 7:15, official duties to see to before classes start at 8:25. Which basically means I’ll have one eye on the cellphone and the other monitoring a bunch of America’s finest. Oh well, if we do it, I suppose the kids get an easier day. Going to be tense.

 

0730 for me, which is marginally better. You must be in the western reaches of the state.

Hook your laptop up to a data projector and have the match on-screen in class, whilst you teach the kids all about City: songs and chants, history, points needed for safety/promotion etc. Then a segment on City's effect on one's health and stability, and end with how to speak Yorkshire. English, mathematics, history, social history, foreign language, music, medicine -- all covered. That should do for the day!

Just for once, I hope the players are able to put on a performance to match the fantastic support they're going to get. Nothing half arsed or tentative, lets get on the front foot from the off.

I thought Osedebe did really well at the end.

 

Not sure that’s true Orient went for it first half and most of second but in the final moments the goalkeeper seem to deliberately waste time a nice gesture from a good keeper

Not sure it matters, we have got to go for it at Valley Parade first leg but even though Carlisle had the upper hand in the league games I honestly don't fear them over two legs, they certainly won't be able to accommodate those who want to attend, not sure how many they gave on Boxing Day but after our recent antics at away grounds the police may have a say in that.

 

They were excellent they play a similar way to us only better

 

Ive said this before but the Chapman injury has given Hughes a dilema. We've tried to continue playing that same formation which does see us create more chances, but whether we've used Nevers, Eisa or Costello on the left, we've effectively played with 10.
Todays team was the pragmatic call. Not pretty but with Clayton in there we will always be hard to beat. It will come down to very fine margins but there is really nothing to fear.

They were never out of second gear. They'd have won that hands down if they had needed the points. Thankfully no one else in the division is anywhere near that good. No one to fear in the playoffs, us included.

 

I have to disagree everything was set for this season high profile manager who had six months to prepare for it a budget that recent predecessors didn’t have. We might a big might still get there but if we don’t we can’t disguise it it’s failure. And next season will probably be even more competitive

 

Really enjoyed the season, whatever happens on Monday.
We've got the core of a very good team.
Probably need to strengthen in the wide areas and No.10, whichever division.
