We should have addressed the chronic lack of footballing knowledge the second he became CEO, now it's going to come back to haunt us.

Hughes saying credit to the lads for sticking at it. His usual they came here and just stuck everyone behind the ball comment. Only 3pts off playoffs and 6-7 off automatic, saying people need to calm down. .

Unbelievable 2 wins in 8 and he's trying to make out this isn't a terrible start to the season.

 

Some people actually applauded that, I shit you not. Applauding two teams that didn't have clue what they were doing. Both of whom should offer their point back as neither deserved anything from this game. That ain't football I'm watching, well I wouldn't call it football,

 

I agree. When Hughes was appointed, I wrote, on another forum, "if this doesn't work, I dread to think what the future holds for us"

Wilson looked decent when he came. Dare I say more of a threat than Pointon, who is chronically one footed. Tin hat time!

 

Our problems extend beyond the manager. Until that's recognised or solved, its moot.

 

Unfortunately factually he's correct, but for anyone who has watched us this season (certainly our last two home games) know that comment is just brushing over the cracks, I though we started well knocking the ball about players running into space for the first 5/10 minutes then back to default mode.

 

I thought same 500k for him. Dodged a bullet.

 

I think the recruitment has been dire with the exception of 2/3 players and Hughes and Hodges shouldn’t just be under pressure but so should Mr Gent.

 

Blimey that was one of the most turgid performances I've witnessed I was bored stiff. Smallwood is doing my head in every time he gets the ball you know its going back to Platt who for some bizarre reason we seem to be using as an outlet andexpecting him to pick a pass like Pirlo. Slow, predictable Crap even I could set a team up to nullify us.
