Long ago, about 15 years or so, I was sitting in the pub with some mates before a Tuesday night game discussing our prospects for the match. We'd won the previous Saturday. We were not optimistic because one of our number had done some research. He'd noticed that we hardly ever seemed to win on Tuesday if we'd won on Saturday so he'd looked back at the results for about 30 years and, sure enough, he was right. If I remember rightly, the percentage was somewhere between 10% and 20%. And we lost that night, of course.
So it's nothing new, though I've absolutely no idea why it should be. Perhaps it's the Curse of the Holy Well.

 

Pretty awful night. Pretty awful season. Pretty awful pitch. It’s hard not to be completely fed up this morning.
Wouldn't be totally unlike City to win on Saturday, but same would be following up with another awful display and defeat on Tuesday.
Although I will renew, I don’t expect much better next season.
Now, where’s my anti depressants?

Absolutely right Dave,the season ticket holders in upper tiers would just add to the discontent at the club if they’re suddenly told they can’t sit in the seat they have bought and have to be moved to block A or F in the lower tier to improve the atmosphere. Then what about the suites upstairs?. They would be totally redundant if everyone had to sit in lower tiers. People just don’t think these things through when they come out with ridiculous suggestions.

 

The past few Tuesday night games the pubs have been empty before the game, it's a really un friendly place Bradford city centre after dark.

 

Maybe if you email him back and tell him your lad has 3 feet or identifies as a cardboard box or something like that then you will get an instant reply!

 

I just love the incredibly good view. You can see the whole pitch. The steps are steep for a 5’1” lass but it is worth it for the view. We are in the Executive seats, but might well give them up this year. I would normally have bought them by now, but we are taking our time this year, as I want to see a response from Rupp to the fans enquiries. They are expensive though in comparison to the rest of the stadium. I think it is £379 for one and we have two seats.

 

He is awaiting an assessment for ADHD, so would tick a box for that.

 

Met him once in a hotel when his Bristol City were staying prior to a game at Huddersfield. I can only judge him on that brief chat, and he came across very rude and arrogant.

 

Win this and that last play off place is within our grasp. Lots of big 6 pointers coming up....Barrow could be a key 3pts if we have any ambitions of making 6th place. Rest of the field looks too far ahead.

11 games left, 33pts at stake - so tight this season I think low 70s may be enough to scrape in as long as we dont lose ground to Gills, Walsall and Harrogate by giving them the 3pts.

 

That never happens with permanent transfers, why would Forest Green even consider accepting that and I highly doubt the EFL/FA would consider it a valid clause.

 

The perfect surface for a professional football game to be played…

 

Yes Steve, the away club can claim for associated costs such as travel and the hotel I believe.

 

Cheers NM. Pity they cannot also claim basic travel expenses for the fans who made the journey, would kind of soften the blow somewhat
