Derbyshire in 1 match did more than Costelloe in 6 matches.
If there's any chance of him playing then imo, play him.

Just checked the trains - all seem to be running tomorrow.
Strikes for the Grimsby game though.

If walker is fit move him forward at the expense of Costello. And bring Chapman in and Banks. And whilst Stubs has been great I would bring chrichlow in and give him a rest.

I would be tempted to go 3 at the back with Crichlow, Stubbs and Platt all playing. Might stop us getting overrun in midfield.

How many had they sold , when this game was meant to be played on a Saturday.
Have they sold a lot more since.
1100 is still a great effort for a Tuesday evening.

We were told that we expected to take around 1300 to the first game, if memory serves me correct we had sold around 1200 and another 100 or so was expected to 'pay on the day'.
Obviously a few people have 'backed out' because its a Tuesday night, but it just goes to show what a little bit of success can achieve.

    Thanks for the info,
Like i said ,its a great effort for such a longish journey on a Tuesday night.
If we get a game like Saturday, it will be entertaining, but hopefully we can create similar and take more of the chances than we did .
The game could have finished 6-3 it was that open. Not like us at all, generally tight affairs with few chances either way.
Enjoy your day out, but not too much.

Just read on our official Twitter site that the 'lift stand' is full, and anybody purchasing tickets from now on will be put in the stand behind the goal.

Dom offers nothing at the moment. Sutton was released for a reason, let’s be honest.

You mean score, and Derbyshire has more than the single appearance?

If he could just get the first one we might see a player trying so hard. I like him, but as you say his finishing isn’t there ….

It's one thing going into those matches fresh and knowing what we need to do. I would have thought we were fresh needed to win against Hartlepool

You can’t offer something if you’re not on the bench that’s true. Whatever we’ve served up at home generally hasn’t been good enough. More of the same will see similar results most likely. We need to be bolder at home. I would prefer one of chapman or Smallwood. One replace the other after an hour because they’re usually shattered. Banks offers threat. Perreira used to. I would like to see Critchlow and Stubbs paired. Both good defensively. Both are better on the ball and give it into midfield faster and more accurately than Platt. Platts physicality would be missed but both are pretty solid. We need to be more dynamic at home and not be reliant on Cook scoring for a win. The fact no CH has scored this season is really poor. We need goals from other departments and we need more dynamism / attacking threat in midfield.

Its the same tickets that were sold when it was scheduled on a Sat - they are valid from the original game aren’t they??

still a great following even if a few hundred can no longer make it

Is Stubbs left footed or right? Seems very comfortable in the left slot tbf. Can’t see Hughes playing Crich on the right of a pair.

Stubbs is predominantly right footed but seems comfortable using either. Stubbs would play on the right. Critchlow on left.

I do think they are the best quality pairing we could start. Stubbs has been a man mountain since arriving. Maybe you’ll get to see them together soon!
