    Question? Who calls the ref in early for a pitch inspection? The club? If so, they yet again made a knee jerk decision based on costs if Carlisle travelled and it was off.
    What a tinpot club we are!!

    I challenge anyone at the club if on here, to go out onto the pitch at 3pm with a fork and prove the pitch is frozen.
    I’m willing to bet it’s fine.

    Boom, a day watching the racing instead.

    Thankfully, Walsall progressed in the fa cup so I can go for the Racing Post Chase Day at Doncaster next Saturday. Oh and I get to use my new gloves @Steve1970@Steve1970

    Unlikely, it doesn't really benefit them or their fans to leave it until noon. Not sure what time the team actually left but seeing as both the travel time by car and train is around 2.5 hours and they have to be at the ground a set period before kick-off, Its usually at least an hour but not sure about the exact regulation for the EFL but it really means 10am is the latest they need a decision before they leave.

    The only benefit is that I believe is that rather than the home club covering the away teams travelling costs as normal they also now get 3% of the gate on the rearranged match
