Agree and needs to be an attacking option when we're already behind.

 

Pointon and Walker are so ineffective as deeper wide midfielders in a 442. Far too narrow and neither are naturally footed to the wings they are playing on. So if they get the ball it's going to come inside everytime, Barrow just have to play narrow and they tale out our play and then it's just a hoof to Cook.

Really weird setup.

 

It's how it's going to be all game unless we cab play the ball quicker. Get it up the pitch quicker and put pressure on their back five.

 

It's very poor, monotonous football. Smallwood has been putting himself about but that's it. The 442 won't work with these lot, really don't get it.

 

Smith arguably should do better again. This lad needs to improve quickly. I could have scored against Man City kids, it means nothing if you can't follow up in the league

They need to do more like that. Walker roaming from left midfield to the right touchline. We won't break the Barrow defence by sticking to tactics, going to have to have Smith, Walker and Pointon being brave to find space.

 

Tbf it was put on a plate for him, as was the other chance. He should be on a hat-trick now!

 

Morais should be on one of the big channels. He's great at commentating

Looking far better now with Walker more central, he brings the energy and nous we have lacked all season. Maybe the injuries have been a blessing in disguise.

 

But it makes sense to have Oyegoke instead as he can cover many positions. I'd prefer Richards to start and Ridehalgh in the stands
