Unfortunately you may be correct Walker may have a chance but I cant see Pattison getting back to make any worthwhile contributions.

Behave. It was a game neither side deserved to win. Apart from the first 15 minutes we did very little and Wimbledon were denied a clear penalty after the rugby tackle from Platt. Chapman was back to being inconsistent, would make a good run they take the wrong option. Defensively we look back to being solid after Alexander inexplicably changed it at Swindon but going forward we offer little threat to the point of being painful to watch. Theres a reason we haven't progressed yet under Alexander and yesterday summed it up well.

To lose a critical part of , in fact the central spine going forward, has been quite a disaster and a big contribution as to our failings this season.

It paused immediately after a minor incident in the game , when two people ran towards the pitch side wall and waved their arms at the wombles player about around the half way line. Saw it on follow as plain as as day Jon. I think it was a “ foul” by a City player , leaving their lad in a heap.

Give up they never got in our half for the first twenty five minutes Chapman and Richards cut them open on several times with misses from Smallwood which was gilt edged and also from Chapman himself. We should have won the game in the first half

No according to Morais. Said he only gave a 45min performance and we needed a full 97 min performance.

I think every manager we’ve had whilst Walker at the club has at some point made a comment like “Jamie will always put himself forward to play”.

Similarly how many times (especially this season and last) did we see Walker out on his arse during a game, yet not subbed because we simply have no one to replace him with??

Yes, I guess Pattison was one of those who kind of offers an option. However I want to see a Bradford City side with players like Walker AND Pattison playing. But of course, we’ve had no alternative dimension to our play so when we hit the inevitable challenges of top play availability, we have no solution.

Walker plays with tenacity. He’s on the front foot and due to the nature of his game, yes he’s prone to injury. I agree with you, perhaps we’ve sadly been victim of too much time off the pitch rather than on with him. That said, I wouldn’t want to change the style of his play at all - however perhaps we have to ask the question has he been managed in the best way by management up until now, and wider than this, have we protected one of our main playing assets as well as we could have by investing in a squad to be less reliable on him?

Think we sadly know the answer to this already….

When I listened yesterday I thought he also said he was happy now Young was staying and that only a week ago he knew he wasn't going That contradicts what he was saying that he wasn't playing because of an injury ;);)
Can't find it to listen again could be wrong but am pretty sure that's what he said

Yes, I heard that in his post march interview as well. One of my friends in the car with me commented that Alexander had now let the cat out of the bag. With that one statement he undermined all the claims from the club that he was only here to play and that it was his ankle which prevented him from playing. The club must think we are all gullible and will believe anything they say!

Edit: Post match interview .. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0h5gqpf

Alexander's comment about not knowing until a week ago whether Young wouid definitely return is at 23mins15.

Bit noisy in my car too
If that's really what he said then he's as bad as his bosses any respect like the rest has gone
Yep they think we are stupid swallowing every *@?$ and bull story they feed us total disrespect for those paying their wages but some will continue to do so
Proves our main intention was to sell him and always was
He will flop here and should have been left at Swindon gathering value then sold for more in the summer but that's the way they roll :x3::x3::x3:

Any manager worth anything wont take a blind bit of notice what happens with Yoing over the next few months.

Throwing long balls at him creating fook all for him they would be foolish to think that this spell here will make a blind bit of difference going forward

I feel awful saying this but Chapman, Cookie and Richardson look overweight and incapable of 90
Mins of running. Atrocious and I’d be finning all 3 if that’s the case.

    Thank you
It's quite plain what he said
Maybe a question for the "fans" forum

I don’t think Alexander has let any cat out of the bag regarding Young by saying he only knew 1 week ago that he was staying. That was clear as soon as he took the field last week that he now can’t join any other club. If the club’s only intention was to sell him they’d have stopped him playing at Swindon and waited till the deadline on Feb 1

It’s good of him to opine but I like to judge myself , however if he played well for 40 mins in his previous game , it’s still his best game of the season ;)

A good 15 minutes does not constitute dominance over another team. As even a game as you'll see by the end.
