Think we will find out if AJ is the real deal tonight this will be a proper test. Early knock out for AJ for me.

I would hope it goes beyond the early rounds, but I think it's a bit of a miss match, from what I've seen of
Dillian Whyte or Dereck Chisora I think either would beat Povetkin.

It will be a backward step if he has to fight Dillian Whyte rather than a chance of unifying the belts, AJ didnt sound convinced with Hearns ability to get the fight sorted.

I think it was AJ's camp who backed out of fighting Wilder, not based on fact but based on Wilder agreeing to fight Fury. That is a high risk fight imo, as he will get less coverage and money and I'm yet to be convinced AJ is actually better than Fury who is as awkward as they come to fight.

AJ himself said after Parker that he has no reason to fight away from London, the best aren't scared to go to places like Madison Square Garden and Vegas. He took a fight against someone who's 39 and past their best, just like Klitschko was although that was still a good win. He beat Dillian Whyte when as a fighter he was still wet behind the ears and in his own words he was far more unprofessional back then, he looked a class above against Parker, someone AJ hid behind the jab against.

He might be the golden boy because he won gold, which is a great achievement considering some who have won it throughout history. But he's got someway to go to prove he can be a great to me, and at the minute he looks like someone who's more bothered about his record than taking the blockbuster fights. Go to Vegas and fight Wilder, beat him then I'll be impressed don't hide at home fighting in the same place under the same promotion every fight.

As with football you can only beat whats in front of you, why should he have go to the states to defend his belts AJ is now the biggest pull within heaveywieght boxing, so many times in the past British boxers have had to go to the states to get a crack now it's the other way around, 80,000 under the lights at Wembley big pay day and more of his fans get to see him live.

I thinks its the other way around Dillian Whyte beat Joshua back in there amateur days ?.

AJ has the belts and is arguably the top name in the division so why should he have to chase anyone to America?

He's the man to beat and I applaud him for keeping the big fights in Britain where we can all watch them at a decent time instead of having to wait up until 4 o clock to suit the American audience.

Yes Whyte beat him in him amateur days, but in their first professional match Whyte prepared terribly which is his own fault. But by all accounts he's training far more professionally now, and looks 10x better than when they last fought. It would make a far more interesting fight than whoever else is the next "mandatory" challenger.

He doesn't have to go anywhere, but if he wants the great fights sitting in the same arena fighting the next mandatory challenger protecting his record isn't going to do it. He was more Jonny Nelson than Mike Tyson against Parker, time for him to step out of his comfort zone. Golovkin did it twice even with a perfect record, and him against Alverez was a far more memorable fight than anything Joshua has fought in.

I agree there first meeting as professionals was a good battle whilst it lasted, Dillian looking very dangerous when throwing punches, the Whyte/Chisora fight was on a par with anything we've seen recently, two big heavyweights knocking lumps out of each other.
I personally believe if that match did get made Dillian would be a dangerous opponent as Joshua has had recently Whyte would certainly take his preparation far more seriously in a rematch.

Have you been keeping up to date with the story?

The Wilder camp have already had an OFFICIAL offer from Eddie Hearn which has been confirmed to be at £15M. They declined it on the basis that they wanted 50/50, which is ludicrous when you consider the profile of both fighters.

Have you ever being in a ring?

Both fighters are putting their health on the line, plus Wilder has a lot less of a career left due to age. He has every right to ask for 50/50, why would an unbeaten world champion not? If Joshua isn't money orientated then he'd accept the offer as I'm sure he isn't skint. Wilder has more experience and if he beats Fury will have beaten someone above anything Joshua has.

If the shoe was on the other foot, every British fan would be telling Wilder to give Joshua more.

Just to add to the above, I think all bouts at the top where most is made up of TV money should be a 70/30 split with the winner getting the lions share. Joshua or anyone else for that matter shouldn't potentially be able to get knocked out in the first round and walk away with the most money. Obviously lower down where boxers still have to shift their own tickets and money is far more important to their livery hoods then it's a different matter.

Splits aren't based on a boxers CV or even ability. Joshua is by far the bigger name in boxing and will therefore generate the overwhelming majority of money In the pot. The bigger name always gets the bigger split because they are entitled to it. Those are the terms that almost every single fighter fights under. Why should Joshua get his arse spanked and be any different?

Typically, Wilder earns 3M a fight, Joshua earns 30M. Wider fights in small arenas, Joshua fills out stadiums. Joshua sells 1M+ paper per views fight, Wilder doesn't even fight on PPV and you think that they both deserve 50/50? Why would AJ work towards becoming the biggest name in boxing and then just give it all away? He/Matchroom/Ediie Hearn are not a charity and one man is pricing himself out of the fight.

If Joshua really wants to fight Wilder, Wilder has set his stall out as he has the right to do. Wilder is far more experienced than Joshua, if he finds the offer insulting it's Joshua who will have to change or he can just keep fighting past its. I couldn't care less about who sells out stadiums or has most followers on Insta. This is two fighters at the top of the division, if Joshua wants to submit his legacy he will have to beat Wilder unless Wilder losses to Fury. Why should Wilder just submit to Joshua's demands? Is he not entitled to negotiate? As I said if the shoe was on the other foot Joshua fans would be calling Wilder a coward and telling him to take the fight regardless of split. These are multi millionaires if Joshua is so desperate to beat the best he might have to lose a couple of mill.

If Joshua and his team were backing out of the fight as you've claimed, then they wouldn't have made an offer in the first place. If Deontay Wilder is only willing to take the fight on terms he quite clearly doesn't deserve and terms which massively disfavour Joshua, then MOST of the blame lies with Wilder for the fight not taking place.

The offer is just one thing of many. Wilder blatantly doesn't want it, and you'd know this from the series of events which have taken place since the Parker fight. The whole episode reflects poorly from his side. In short:

*Eddie Hearn sent Shirley Finkle an email and contract in order to get the fight made and he didn't respond. Not even to discuss alternatives to the offer and to try and reach an agreeable deal. How is the fight supposed to get made when one side doesn't want to negotiate?

*When Hearn wanted to make the Wilder vs AJ fight, he invited Wilder to sit ringside for the Joshua vs Parker matchup and he refused. Why wouldn't he want to build the fight up if he really wanted it?

*A 'fake' £50M offer went in from the Wilder camp. A) they refused to state where the funds were coming from and B)They didn't set out or reveal any of the terms. Obviously, you can't just sign a contract without knowing the conditions first and Finkle knows this. Wasn't this just a way to make it look like they want the fight without actually wanting it?

*Wilder has an extensive history of ducking fighters. You only have to look at the fighters he's said no to fighting and his shocking CV to establish this. Additonally, just under a year ago, an offer from Matchroom went in for him to fight Dyllian Whyte. He refused and said he'll take it for £7M. Hearn originally said no, later changed his mind and then offered him £8M to gaurentee the fight. Deontay Wilder still declined the offer despite getting offered more than what he wanted. Can you see the similarities here?

*Wilder is pricing himself out of the current fight by asking for unreasonable terms.

Why he fight isn't taking place is blantantly obvious and I'm not sure how AJ gets most of the blame.

Also, your comment about Wilder being able to dictate terms because Joshua is fighting has beens is absolutely laughable when you look at the calibre of opponents Wilder has been fighting. Joshua has a far better CV than Wilder's in roughly half the number of fights @WilsdenBantam@WilsdenBantam

Haha I'll make one more comment then I can't be arsed as you obviously believe a slime ball like Eddie Hearn which is fair enough, but from the people I know who have had dealings with him know what he is and that's an extensive liar like his con man dad. I don't believe most of what you listed above as I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. There's a reason he gets booed where ever he goes. All I'll say is don't believe everything you're told, it's like footballl but far worse for bluff and bravado.

And as for dictating terms I think you misunderstood where I was coming from, i know Wilder isn't bothered about taking the fight which is why he can dictate terms. If Joshua wants the fight then whether he likes it or not he will have to accept what he and his con man promoter feel is unfair, although I'm sure they wouldn't go hungry with the other so I won't have to much sympathy. Important to note that Wilder didn't duck out against Fury which you left out, even though he has a far better pedigree than Whyte. There hasn't been a lot of decent competition in the Heavyweight division for years so it stands to reason Wilder will have fought a lot of crap, other than Klitschko and Wilder I don't particularly rate anyone Joshua's fought yet, which is the whole point of my posts on here. He might after alter his terms if he wants a chance to beat the best in this division. If not he can live of his reputation that some have given him and keep beating mandatory challengers in a flawed system.
