About not believing everything you're told, what are you denying then cos almost everything written on that list is fact and not my opinion. Did Wilder not go on record saying that he'll fight Whyte for 7M only to refuse later or did I dream that? Everyone in the boxing world from ex fighters to pundits know that Wilder refused to sit ring size for the AJ vs Parker fight and this has been confirmed from Sky themselves but they are all wrong and you know better? Did Wilders team not offer Joshua a £50M contract or was that all made up too?

You're also deluded of you think Joshua's going to go from fighting Molina for £30M to Deontay Wilder for 15M and put all 3 of his belts on the line aswell. That's madness. Don't be fooled, fighter don't risk their lives for our entertainment, money talks and Joshua will rightly take the fight when he gets a fair deal. As do all the other fighters on the planet

Important to remember that taking Whyte last year would have been a terrible decision, his stock has only rose again this year after the Parker fight, neither Joshua or Wilder should have taken a fight like that, now the goal posts have changed as they do on a yearly basis in boxing, one loss and Joshua won't be able to dictate anything same goes for a Wilder or Fury.. Wilder wasn't scared to take on Fury for the right price as I'm sure he wouldn't to fight against Joshua for what he feels it's worth. Or is it only one way and only Joshua can negotiate? Just need to know the rules I'm playing with here.:joy:

Surprise defeat last night, could this be the end of AJ or will he turn it around in the rematch?

Don’t know much about boxing but did he underestimate him? Not plan enough with it being a later replacement?

He won’t be demanding what he wants off Wilder anymore, my god first real challenge of his career unless you want to count a well past it Klitscho. Never rated him as have, some even compared him to Ali:joy::joy:.

Good for the division though he and that nob Hearn can’t just dictate to everyone to come to Wembley for as much money as possible. I see he’s already demanding a rematch in Britain. He’s the champ Joshua. If he wants you in America again you’ll just have to listen.

Didn't stop up to watch it but you do have to think he did, you only had to look at him and compared to AJ he look a fat lump and hardly in condition to challenge for several World Championship belts .
On the tv this morning he said he was still pinching himself as he could not believe he'd won, but fair play the lad did the business

It's AJ who needs to lose weight, not Ruiz. It's a fight, not a body building competition, AJ was out of gas after round 3.

I think some think Boxing is just about being the muscliest man you can be, naturally body weight is far more important. While he looks fantastic AJ doesn’t look comfortable at that weight in the slightest. As you say he was knackered and it’s not the first fight where he’s blown out of his arse, he’s got away with it till now. The fat lad might look crap but he’s comfortable at his weight and has done 12 rounds comfortably before. Similar with Fury, I’d back Fury against AJ said so plenty of times, but hey ho at least AJ has big muscles not like there’s more to boxing than strength.

He’s got a lot to prove now, I hope Fury or Wilder win the belts so he has to chase them and earn his shot, bit of his own medicine as him and Eddie Hearn were happy to let them chase AJ for so long. Either prove himself or stop bigging him up as being better than he is, although that’s what modern boxing is like now I’m afraid, more talk and gaining coverage than focusing on the actual fighting. Tyson or Ali he certainly isn’t.

And why would he need to do that because he's lost the first fight in his pro career, his record with all that weight is 22 wins from 23 fights, 22 KO and you think he's over weight, sorry I can't agree.

Joshua's weight has fluctuated since he turned professional, it hasn't remained static. In his first professional fight he was 16st 6lbs at the weigh in. Against Carlos Takam he weighed in at 18st 2lbs. Against Parker he was 17st 6lbs. Against Ruiz he was 17st 9lbs. He has gained a lot of muscle mass over the years. Like Bruno he has a great physique, but if he's knackered three rounds into the fight and a flabby Mexican is still showering him with punches what good is all that muscle going to do? I'm not saying he needs to go back to being 16st 6lbs, but he could do with dropping a few pounds and focusing on cardio instead of weight lifting. Ruiz doesn't need to lose weight, he's always been a fat guy and he can still go twelve rounds in that body.

Having just watch a reply that performance was so unlike an Anthony Joshua performance, he looked like he was more concerned about being hit rather than hitting Ruiz, a strange end one minute the referee was claiming Ruiz pushed Joshua to the canvas then after an 8 count stopped the fight, with a rematch Joshua has a chance to put it right which I believe he will do.

As above so unlike a Joshua fight it's going to be an interesting return fight.

He was blowing out of his arse early doors, that muscle burns oxygen pretty quickly.

His handlers are letting him bulk up like that (Muscle) knowing it burns oxygen quickly, he needs to get a new backroom crew if that's the case Al, he never looked like the Joshua of old from the first bell.
Never saw the fight live but he was certainly breathing hard at the end of the first round in his corner.

If you look at his previous fights it hasn't hindered him much but his movement last night, as @Skp@Skp alluded to, reminded me of Frank Bruno. It was non existent most of the fight and he looked way too rigid, his punches were very telegraphed as a result of this. He will come back from this defeat, Andy Ruiz is no mug and too many people wrote him off wrongly after seeing his physique, but the aura around Joshua has pretty much gone for now. He looked way too vulnerable in last nights fight, Tyson Fury would play with him for 12 rounds if he fights like that again. Its not so much the weight, Ruiz was the heavier fighter despite being shorter, but Ruiz did expose what some say of Joshua as being a strong but robotic fighter.
