if we are millions in debt , the team will be full of loan players next season , and unwanted cast offs .

Depends whether Stefan is writing it off as a gift or loan. The former no debt, the latter yes we do, but hopefully low or no interest.

 

What a nice position to be in having a £2m debt and not be worried about it.

Depending upon how much of our shitstorm can be sorted this Summer - Expectations need to be in line with that.
The whole of the Management will have their work cut out, and much as I'd like us to be challenging at the top - I'd rather see a plan in progress built on a solid platform, than false hope embedded in sand. No matter what our budget is ....... Let's spend it wisely this time.

 

As in the January transfer window it's a very fluid situation. Fortunately during the summer the options are much greater. You might be able to have your targets but that doesn't necessarily translate into getting them. Of course much will depend on who and how many of the contracted players wish to move elsewhere. That may not be decided until the season is long over.
