    I disagree. It can be a valuable tool in the development of a young player. There are fine lines, obviously, but its a mans game. A bollocking from a team mate if you’ve ballsed up is a staple of the game. If you can’t take it, you’ve no place in professional football.

    Agree. Depends on the personality of the player. There’s a difference between abuse/bullying and a robust talking to. If you want to be a professional footballer, you need resilience. And when a more seasoned pro gives you a doing, you need to listen and think about whether he has a point.

    That said, I think A’OC is crap defensively, so I’m not sure of the merits in him teaching a promising young defender how to defend!

    For me, until we get that striker (if we do) then it's Donaldson instead of Guthrie. He'll be far better for the others to get goal scoring opps

    I think it was about his positioning. What I would say, is I think Staunton has had a better game than A’OC.

    Exactly it did the Uniteds Class of 92 no harm getting shouted at by the likes of Keane and Schmeichel (Schmeichel especially liked shouting at the defenders even when it was him at fault)

    O'Connor was supberb in that November, December spell. I remember in particularly it was almost him versus Exeter

    I think he gets far too much hassle because of his so called 'attitude' from the relegation season. Defenders do make errors and yes if he keeps doing them, then in comes BRE

    His sheer nuisance value, meant that they totally missed Prichard, when he scored, as L2 teams are so wary of him
