I don't deny the likes of WW are 'entitled' to be at games as club representatives but I personally, don't need to know that as us less minions, sit on our couch wishing to be in attendance.
Don't give up though @wetherbywhaler.

The 3k for me is no issue but I can't sit there and think Rhodes is great, McCall as a manager is great and the club is is great when clearly its not.

Missing penalties can happen but you all needed to look at Clarke's pen on Saturday to see he isn't the best at pens and I wasn't confident he was going to score.Stop hovering to collapse... Same as the non release of details of the new CEO and we all know who that's going to be and not telling us that mid table mediocrity was the target this year before season tickets went on sale
The disconnect between the club and the fans is growing at an alarming rate
Stuart saying he takes lots of positives from a defeat by a self inflicted comedy goal and us missing a penalty is a nonsense he ought to be raging with them rather than praising them too much Mr Nice GuyBriggus, Fordy117 and Tony Wilkinson like this. -

I don't know about confidence, what I saw at Bolton was a team that outplayed the hosts in the second half with sadly no end product. I got a lot of stick on this thread for what I said but remain convinced that if the Clarke pen had gone in we would have won and yesterday would have had a different complexion going into the game. The Tonbridge scout even agreed that yesterday. Wins breed confidence.
Yesterday, in my humble opinion we had two elements to beat, first Barrow, fresh from a win, but an average side, some pace up front which caused POC problems, a tough but not too skillful MF and a slow(ish) defence, second the weather. When I played even at school level, ages ago, we were told to keep the ball on the ground in wind, the best two players for that in my view are Clarke and Watt and quite possibly Pritchard but all were on the bench. Billy is a good passer most of the time and is old enough to weight passes for the conditions, keeping the ball on the floor, even with 10 men would have opened them up in my view resulting in a win and a lot happier drive home.Tom Hallett, The Original EB and Stafford Bantam like this. -
Can't wait to emerge from this period of all round gloom. Can the lads buckle down and can they be "Managed" to turn the corner? Most of us are sceptical, but we are desperate to be proven wrong..so once again over to you Stuart and give us leadership on the field and more to the point, from on the touch line.

Ita good to hear though, maybe a moment of clarity. Hopefully prioritising flexibility over players that can play one role well in our recruitment hasn't made this more difficult than necessary. -

I’m normally quite positive but I’ve got a bad feeling about tonight - Bolton are seemingly starting to click after putting in a decent performance away at Cambridge and they should have won by all accounts. And aside the first 10 mins at Barrow they apparently played very well.
As for us, we’re consistently inconsistent, and on Saturday we never looked like scoring even if we played til midnight. There was no creativity on the pitch and no players to ask questions of the defence and keep them on their toes. It was all too one dimensional from us.
So all that considered, I think I’d be absolutely delighted if we came back with a point.Stoneski and Captain Grumpy like this. -
