Look, the club is clearly in a difficult position and things seem to be happening in the background as everything seemed to be on a 6 month contract.

Bowyer might not want to stay beyond this season.

The terms are simple keep City up- that works for all parties.

With the players we currently have, you cannot make a winning (silk purse) team from 'this lot' (sows ear)!

Now open wide and think about the above!

He took it because he wanted to get back in to the game and no one else was interested although applying for most vacancies,

You only get one chance to make a first impression and his team choices and style and formation have contributed to the one win he has, You say 4 games is not enough to judge him yet I bet you did not give Collins the same time at the beginning of the season, Boyer has made a questionable start but if he learns quick he may save his job for next season but one thing is for sure that that this club is at risk and must do everything possible to have a good season next year and am not sure on what I have seen that I would entrust it to him

Many said that back in July when Rachic had a brain wave thinking a coach who had no experience of coaching the big lads could make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
One of the few chances we had of staying in league one was if Hopkin could get a team to play with a little heart and maybe keep us above 20th position, unfortunately when Hopkin walked it was always going to be a struggle for the next manager because time was not on his side, a difficult task but not impossible.

That would be ironic Jon. When he joined, the perceived wisdom was that he had talent but a terrible attitude! :brig:

I have no idea, but I do find in life people with the worst attitudes can fake it best, albeit usually for a very short time!

Thought I had provided my view, without the OTT hysteria you provided in yours.

Trolling? No, not at all. As for ‘superiority complex’, again, not so. You just stick to your wildly negative and OTT opinions

First impression saw him drop an out of form Payne and replacing him with Butterfield who won the MoTM award. I’d say my first opinion of him was very good, as it was for most people.

Not sure it’s the first impression you have issues with?!?!

    Its just a prediction.

The hysterical reaction is to question whether I'm a City fan or not. That's just silly, and something a troll might say.

I'm sorry you find my feelings on this one game hard to accept. It's a prediction, one, and I've generally been pretty positive about our chances - up until the Oxford game.

Just seems to me you overreacted.

I'm a City fan, always will be, goes without saying. Predicting a heavy loss is hardly a big deal given the season we've had.

    I'd say no.

But if he continues to select Anderson ahead of quality players, I'll continue to bring it up.

I paid a fortune to go to Oxford and Jermaine put in one of the worst individual performances I've watched in my 44 years on planet earth at any level. And that's being kind. He was that bad.

I would put my house, my dog, my wife on him starting tomorrow.

Bad, bad management when they have favourites who get picked regardless.

It not only alienates fans, it cannot help the other players, especially those missing out.

I look forward to his team sheet with big interest.

But predicting a heavy loss even though it’s been quite a while since our last one and we aren’t exactly playing a team smashing form books themselves.

As I said, we beat Posh, ran the league leaders close but then put in an abject performance away. But that’s no reason to think we will get thumped at home. That IS an OTT reaction and why I questioned whether you’re an actual fan or not. A fan shouldn’t be quick to make snap over-reactions based on a poor performance. It’s something I’d expect from @Fordy117@Fordy117 ;), but not you

Good managers change things immediately when they have got it wrong, Bad ones sit and watch the team struggle due to the mistakes he has made, Sitting on his hands while watching a poor team in Oxford tear us to pieces was poor management, Forget the 1-0 result they dominated us all the game with some abject performances by some players that went uncorrected

I can only speak for the two home games since he has been manager and we saw a massive improvement in how we played
