Just how low can you go? The goals we conceded today were laughable. With a few exceptions, the players didn’t show energy, drive or enthusiasm. If anyone is clinging to any shread of hope, then, sorry, you need your head read. I have been going since 1979 and, as you’ll realise, I’ve seen some shit in my time, but today was the pits. Just now, i can’t see me going back until the last game. You would expect some kind of personal or professional pride as an absolute minimum. I’m not sure I saw that today.

Said it before, some will have relegation clauses. The rest will be hard to move on but ultimately they won't want to play in league two so they may go but it may take time.

That is the worst display I have seen at VP for a long long time. We are a bunch of softies, we don’t tackle, and stand off, we don’t run and track, we just let them run through us. I left after the 4th goal goes in only the second time as a supporter for 50 years.

Where is the guts? Where are our hard men? We are going down and not one of them gives a toss. I say to whoever ownes this club, first job is to clean the crap out, yes it will be expensive, but has to happen or otherwise we will drop to non league and then we will be done!! We just cannot go into league 2 with this load of crap, we will get turned over every week.

We need players who wants to wear our shirt, who actually feels pride in wearing it, and wants to perform in front of the fans. They have to be the right character. This isn’t about the manager it is about the strength of the squad, and every single one of them better have character, strength and be prepared to fight for City.

    I am angry and depressed.

What a gutless, useless team, not fit to wear the shirt, worst team I have seen in 40 years! Beggars belief they can call themselves footballers and make a wage from it!!
Also we have some deluded fans, applauding that team, how & why can they on that performance??

I am normally quite vocal at games, but that performance sucked any fight I had left in me into backing this shower any more. Just want this season to end now, and not see any of them again in a City shirt, except perhaps Caddis.

I will be renewing season tickets out of love for the football club. However, we need to urgently hear now the intentions of Rupp now that we have virtually been consigned to relegation.

Personally I hope Rupp is gone sooner rather than later, and a new broom comes in and takes over. Rupp is just as much to blame as Rahic for the decline of our club since they took over.

New owners, and a manager appponted, whether thats Bowyer or somebody else, it needs sorting as quickly as possible, then we can plan for league 2

Very difficult to answer, but I'l give my thoughts, on paper that squad should be far higher than we are, we started the season with a rookie in charge (that was Rahic's choice no one else's) we start poorly (which was always the gamble with Collins) and he gets sacked.
Dave Hopkin comes in and see's we have a split camp he does what he believes to be correct to make sure the bad influences don't drag others into that camp, we see that the likes of McCartan, Wright, Patrick, Riley, Gibson, frozen out, then we lose Robinson for what ever reason.
We have injuries to Scannel, Reeves, Chicksen, Akpan, Coville, some long term some recurring so with those two situations Hopkin struggles to get a team to perform consistently.
Maybe to some claiming the situation is down to Rachic is making excuses as you allud to, but Lee Duxbury summed it up when he said the club was toxic, I've posted many times that within football circles people knew just what the situation is/was at Valley Parade and unfortunately no matter how hard various managers have tried the players have not shown the quality that some of them obviously possess apart from that 5/6 game sequence in November/December.
Lets hope Stefan keeps financing our club or other parties are interested and purchase our club, there can't be excuses next season, but sorry I do believe Rahic is responsible for a great deal of where we are as a club both on and off the pitch.

I'd put Rahic as being 100% responsible. Individual players were signed, we never did have a team as such.

Lee Duxbury was spot on. He got rid of Stuart out of jealousy, and then we had nothing. No CITY DNA!! Since then no manager has been able to get a tune out of them. Clear it out!

Left after 3rd goal. Only 2nd time ever left that early and both times have been this season says it all.

This is the most gutless set of city players I've ever seen. A disgrace to the shirt.

Big errors for me (on the playing side)

    - backing Scannell as our only real wide threat when we "lost" Robinson. Needed more reinforcements
    - lack of fitness coach at the start/preseason
    - not getting in another striking option in January
    - more on the possibly minor side - not replacing McGowan, letting go/not replacing adequately Jim O'Brien, signing young O'Connor (pointless with 5 loans already, feel sorry for him)

I could go on but those are key ones for me.

Duxbury talked a lot of sense today when summing up as we drove home, two goals today where Blackpool players picked the ball up in there own half carrying the ball forward and not one City player (I won't just blame defenders) could have/should have fouled these players and as Duxbury said take one for the team.
At times our defending was Sunday League, and going forward our attacking was no better, he plays Jack Payne who on his day is as good as any in league one on the right.
Interesting to know if he took Payne off for his performance or as the guy next to me said he looked like he'd taken a kick late into the first half.

I think Payne has suffered from a change of manager and a bit of a loss of form.

Think it all got a bit "real" in January after the brilliant December and he suddenly had to start continuing with the good performances. Probably why league one is his level. Or maybe not, maybe he'll prove me wrong.

Change in managers affect people too. Mine at work switched a few weeks back and the new one doesn't gel with me and I already feel different to how I did a month ago. I can imagine it's the same in football.

Not saying the second half performance was better, but Butterfield and Payne are night and day in terms of quality. Butterfield is a much, much more talented player. Not sure he grafts as hard though.

Also, anyone still insisting Eoin 'Token Effort' Doyle is a grafter? LOL.

I am now totally bereft of any hope. These players talk a load of optimistic
bullshhhhh and they should be ashamed taking good money for no return.

The answer is beyond football managers,we've tried enough of them, div 2
here we come, but I really feel we may not stop there,we could go into football
    oblivion.
