I wouldnt pay much attention to the odds in L2. Cambridge nearly won it the other year and were 100/1 I think.
The bookies know everything at the top level due to the amount of data available. When it comes to pricing up League 2 they are a bit lazier. It is just an unpredictable league though - Swindon weren’t fancied at all the other year. lincoln were 14/1 the season they went up after signing Akinde from Barnet - the year before all they were missing was a goalscorer.

Salford will be favs purely because of their ownership and the possibility they could go on a spending spree. They certainly arent priced up on manager or achievements on pitch. Even on xG and similar they weren’t anything special last year (10th best or so).

 

One thing bookies are excellent at is parting people from their money.

mate if you’d have been on us during McCall last season you would clearly see they ain’t over football at our level

We layed Oldham down here in the fa cup they beat us 2-1 and could have beat us more comfortably we went into that game as favourites ............... now fast forward a couple of week a game at boundary park and yet again they had us down as favourites now anyone with half a brain could see you where stealing money on that game

had you been all over the big odds on the oppo team up against you would have made a killing due to us being fooking poor

now Trueman steps in and all of a sudden City are the outsiders yet again another licence to win money

honestly they are all over the higher levels but when it comes to this and the one above they really are lazy at there job

Dunno what that reply is about tbh. I've never placed a bet in my life, all I hear is the majority of punters lose money and the bookies seem to do ok. What's your beef?
