    Let's be honest, if like some of us can go back 60 years then it's an impossible task to find just 11, would struggle to cut down to any best 11 over every decade.
    There really has been many City favourites over the years albeit not many from the last 5 ...

    I forgot Andy O'Brien!

    I prefer him to Wetherall.

    Not being funny, but Carbone was a rubbish fit for this club and did nowt for us. Bad signing. I'm still grateful he bailed us out, but all his skills were a massive waste.

    Is amazing how many “ favourites “ we have forgotten about.

    I can still remember fondly of Tim Steele purely based on us battering Exeter 6-0 and he ran the game. I was young at the time but it's amazing how certain games or performances stick in your mind. He was probably pretty pooh for Bradford overall but I remember one game

    No possible way to cut my list down to a manageable size...but here goes anyways. Players only from my time, and no loanees unless they became permanent signings. Probably not a "best" list, however you define "best," more a "favourites" list. Most of these would get a plaque in my City Hall of Fame, some would get a statue. Starter(s) and backup(s) in each position, but really you wouldn't go wrong with any of these so-called backups as starters. I want good solid reliable pros at the back, grit in the middle, flair on the wings, and strikers who can.

    G: Tomlinson / Walsh

    RB: Mitchell / Podd

    CH: D. Evans, Richards / PA Jackson, Oliver, Sinnott

    LB: Jacobs / Goddard

    M: Stuart, G. Jones / Hamilton, L. Duxbury

    W: Hendrie, Beagrie / Lawrence, Marshall or Daley or K. Reid (can't decide)

    F: Bobby, Blake / Windass, Hanson, Mills, J. Cooke (extra CH too if needed!)

    About a 25-man squad then, that I'd like to think would do very well indeed.

    Couple of names on there giving me great memories
    Norman Corner RIP used to train us at school some of the better players used to "run rings" around him funny enough any goal not scored by him was "offside" His best moments were when he was teaching us to take penalties he invariably missed even against infant/ junior school keepers never could get over how tall he was to me in those days
    Bernie Wright used to catch the bus with all the fans to the ground when playing at home another great character
    Wonder how many fans in 50 years time will be talking about the likes of Lavery Robinson Threlkeld etc not many I would wager
