End of the day all the pressure is on the other two teams i can actually see us giving Newport a good hiding all we can do is win the game and see what happens.

I can see Barrow fooking up but the Crawley v Grimsby will be the killer.

 

Fantastic result no matter what happens they gave it their all tonight.

 

That's the big unknown for each of Mansfield, Grimsby and Newport. Grimsby and Mansfield especially; are Mansfield on the piss? Trying a couple of youngsters? The Mansfield who rocked up at VP would beat Barrow, but is that actually that Mansfield? And Grimsby, are they on the beach? Or do they play with freedom now they're safe?

Ultimately, we can only do our own job. And if its not enough, the reality is that we don't really deserve the play-offs across the season as a whole and if we fall short, its squarely on us.

 

It's the home record for me. 17th in the league. Away we're very good, 5th at present - nine wins is auto form.

Mansfield will be a different kettle of fish they are a far better footballing side than us they'll want to take second place and not let's Wrexham finish second.
Could be a massive attendance Saturday memorial game and a win could see us get a play off place, I bet the new guy Sharpe is in the phone to Clough at Mansfield telling them to go for it and forget about the beach

 

Super watch was that. Nice to see us actually control the game for periods. And even better to see us come back from a head dropping draw to win it.

positives: wingbacks played well. Smallwood carried the water superbly. Great energy til the last minute. GA showing some balls with his subs.
Negatives: Smallwood set pieces. Kavanagh. Gillead. That wall set up. Stupid fouls in dangerous areas in injury time.

 

If Barrow draw they go above us if we win on goal difference unless my maths are wrong ?.

Arguably more like the Crawley game at home where we chucked it in the last five minutes. 3 points to none.
