Exactly. If we win both games and still fail to make the playoffs then so be it! The fight that was shown on Saturday and now putting ourselves in the best possible position to steal a playoff place gives me some positivity going into next season, even if it is in League Two

 

shame they did not show the same fight the rest of the season .

Isn't there more prize money for second place than third. I certainly reckon players will have a higher bonus for finishing second in their contracts, so let's hope they play to win.

Conversely, if Barrow lose tonight, they will not be looking forward to their last game.

 

The very same keeper whom Hendrie was alleged to have kicked was called Stowell and it was the same keeper who almost stopped us getting to Premier league in 99 when he played for Wolves and saved Beagries penalty.

 

I reckon if Barrow lose tonight, Mansfield will tear them a new hole on Saturday.

If I had to have money on 6th & 7th it would be Crawley, & Doncaster, but who knows. One bad reffing decision could change things.

Yes so was I , as I member it , the left side of Man City box there was a 50 -50 challenge for a bouncing ball. Keeper / Hendrie, both went for it and I think JH caught him a very innocent glancing blow on his hip. The keeper made a three course meal out of it , and from where the ref was,
( miles behind play! ) it must have looked like a decapitation. Nothing of the sort , and the rest is history. Maybe the memory playing tricks?

 

I was at Belle Vue at the time. I had a paper round so no problem with fare and 10 No6 . ( I know)
