    I think I will take credit for the new positive vibes. I was laughed at for mentioning the play-offs a week ago, but now everyone is back positive and buying into it! Let's leave it until the final game and get a win tonight. Cook bound to score!

    You’ve nicked @Park bantam@Park bantam ’s spot! He could always see the positives in any dire situation.

    l think a lot on here, are relatively pessimistic about the outcome of this season, even if we win handsomely tonight.

    Personally l think we will blow it, or even more frustrating win both games, but the results go against City.

    Despite my feelings about this season (and others recently), the conundrum of the ownership, the pitch, and a number of other detractors (the scandal of the hot water!), then l have bought into next season and was one of those who are truly dyed into the Claret & Amber.

    Lucky old Bronc's managed all three but the Villa & Chelsea games were very special as I could celebrate with my grandson, magic memories.

    Yes was there, bunked off school…bad headache.

    Hurt my knee when the perimeter wall caved! Oh such fun…….travelling by Wally Arnold from the Alhambra . Pre and post game sprint across the cricket field from memory?

    I honestly don't know Rod we've seen so many different scenario's play out in the past, not necessarily last games of the season, Man City away when Hendrie got send off, Villa where we were the better footballing side but they bullied us that day with the likes of Garry Thompson, Alan McInally, Steve Sims, Allan Evans, Kevin Gage, all handy lads, Ipswich home last home game of the nearly season played them off the park yet lost 3-2 heart breaking, Posh away only needed a draw but lost and failed to go up.

    Man City away was a travesty. We weren’t far from Hendrie when he got the card , yet the tosser ref allowed him to be chopped down as soon as he got the ball. The Mancs just wound him up . We played them off the field until he got sent off .

    Will never forget the perimeter wall giving away, what a night that was., ended up up having a tussle with a local in city centre bar before the match and then big Norman ( i think it was ) to head the winner, great days

    I was on a Wallace Arnold coach as well and must have slammed school too, I would have been at Drummond Road I reckon. No idea how I paid for it as I don’t remember getting pocket money from my dad. It was soooooo long ago to remember ha ha.
