Don't think that was a fair result on the balance of the game. We got done from 2 mistakes from Devine but should've scored another 3 or 4. Same old problems, can't stop crosses and don't take our chances.

Oh and Josh Wright is an absolute disgrace.

 

Different rules this year

 

Thing is we played better but couldnt get that goal as per usual. Lots of chances to be fair to them. NKP is dreadful.

 

Moncur & isgrove would be decent for us if only we could get them.

 

So they made a full 11 changes?? Jesus.

 

I was hoping we would extend our unbeaten run to two meaningless games in a row...

But we can't have everything!

On to Peterborough.

Finishing bottom of a group with a league 2 side and an U21 side just adds to the argument that this team would struggle even at a lower level. Worrying.

some of us have been 'worried' a bloody long time prior to this

 

Dave Hopkin just been doing his post match interview and said Danny Devine had a great 90 minutes................funny old game as they say .

 

He said the same about Chicksen when he got sent off the other week. These sort of comments worry me, is he just supporting his players or does he genuinely believe that? I hope it's the former.

 

Its not going to get any better hold on to your hats

 

He's throwing them in when they are not ready, because we're so short and desperate for a lift.

He can't then criticise them, when they make mistakes, having not kicked a ball for months.

 

I thought we played some ok stuff at times tonight.

 

Thornton criticised Hopkin regarding the Chicksen red card for not taking him off when he had clearly been tiring.

Hopkin would be opening a can of worms criticising him for making a mistake under those conditions.

 

Barnsley paid circa 500k for him, guessing he's on a fair wedge.
From the videos I've seen of City, his dad at 52 would improve them.

 

Never mind his dad I bet his granny at 87 would be an improvement.
