We just got completely outplayed by on firm Hartlepool so we went to third place Swindon and parked the bus and it worked frankly it was the right call by Adams to do that against a better team

 

Who were the best team then the officials? You can’t seriously think Swindon were better but for the penalty which we gifted them they didn’t have a chance of note.

 

I wouldn't say we parked the bus. We looked to break whenever we could, scored 3 and could/should have had at least 1 more. We had 12 shots to their 8 and with a few mins remaining it was 12 to 3. Thats not parking the bus

 

Kiwomya was praising Lavery's clever movement and pealing off defenders. Something that Cook has missed playing alongside

 

Whether it was a fluke or not who cares really….his confidence will be boosted and that’s what we needed. Happy as on that video the club have released so here’s hoping he will continue to contribute now

 

I didn’t regard it as parking the bus. Murhino with Drogba alone up front was parking said bus. Today was nothing like that from minute 1 to minute 95.
Anyway irrelevant…that was a damn good win, accompanied by a professional performance. 4-0 would not have shamed them . They were cluless in the final 3rd , because we MADE them so.

Have to give credit to Threlkeld today, not been a fan so far but though he kept Payne very quiet, although out on the left I’m not sure is Payne’s best position. I thought we did a job on both Payne and Williams probably their best two players and allowed them to create nothing.

Word for Canavan as well, our record with and without him speaks for itself. Can I ask for a younger, quicker, ball playing version of him in January or is that to greedy or just unrealistic at this level?
