We just got completely outplayed by on firm Hartlepool so we went to third place Swindon and parked the bus and it worked frankly it was the right call by Adams to do that against a better team

Let’s get a win against a real league 2 contender, Forest Green next week, then we can all look forward to the January window and the potential of promotion. A good unexpected 3 points today.

However, Forest Green unbeaten in all 7 away games this season. UNBEATEN!

If you bother to read my posts to others, during the last three hours, you will see that I clearly stated that he has had to sacrifice his normal game to play a more deeper role - obviously for the good of the team. I likened it to Songo's recent foray as a CB

My issue here, isn't that Gilliead has been superb all season. It's the tired old slag the players off, without thinking what they've been asked to do - we have fans on these forums who give certain players no chance. If you also note, from my comments - I said he's no excuse today as he was obviously the only creative outlet. He can forget about tracking back as much, as he has three defensive midfielders behind him.

Andy Kiwomya, who of course gets laughed on here as he's often prone to 'happy clappy' optimism - stated earlier that he thinks Gilliead is an unsung hero of the team. Now that for me is as extreme as your negativity!! But I trust a very good ex-proffesional to see things we don't see. And you also have to ask yourself if Gilliead is so rubbish, why does Adams play him.

This whole argument started, because certain people seemed to think it was outrageous that Gilliead was playing instead of Vernam as if we'd dropped the equivalent of Messi. I merely pointed out that it wasn't and then questioned the negativity Gillihead gets.

Who were the best team then the officials? You can’t seriously think Swindon were better but for the penalty which we gifted them they didn’t have a chance of note.

I wouldn't say we parked the bus. We looked to break whenever we could, scored 3 and could/should have had at least 1 more. We had 12 shots to their 8 and with a few mins remaining it was 12 to 3. Thats not parking the bus

Parking the bus is winning by a goal, we could have had 4 or 5 today. For all the possession Swindon had we were the only team who looked likely to score. That was the performance of the season so far.

Strange how some see it as one up front and others saw Lavery as a second striker.

In League 2, it's about stopping your opponents creating - simple as. Very confident that you won't get a tougher central threesome than Songo'o, Watt and Sutton - it's then down to Gilliead and Vernam to create. And you play can Cooke instead of Watt plus we've eventually god Eisa to come back

We created 12 chances. No Swindon fan could have complained if we'd scored five - so who cares if we smother the midfield.

Sorry but parking the bus doesn't mean you don't counter attack it means you put nine men behind the ball and stop the opposition getting crosses in and shots on isn't that exactly what we just did lol

lets park the bus every week and score 3 , should have been more and only conceed late from the penalty spot.
possesion is not goals, as we know only too well.

I did read your posts that you posted today before I replied to you.

I went to your profile and read all your posts. I clicked on each one and opened them in a different window and I read them. That's why I questioned you. Why don't you go back and check what you wrote before replying to me because you've forgotten what you wrote.

I'm trying to have a debate with you here. I'm asking you why you say Gilliead had such a key effect in the Rovers game - you said that.

The problem is you clearly lack a growth mindset to have a debate. You're just stuck in some rut of thinking I hate Gilliead. Which is not true. You've answered none of my questions. All you seem to be saying is "Gilliead runs around a lot".

You make unsubstantiated statements like "Gilliead is playing in some unusual role that disadvantages him" but say nothing about what the role is and why its a disadvantage for him. Then you take the responses of others and question them instead of adding to your argument.

    Basically, you're a poor man's wum.

I predict a loss - I obviously hope we win but I can’t see us beating them. We’ll see. A benchmark game, win and a lot of people will start to believe, lose and nothings changed.

Ive read some stuff on here but that post is a corker. We completely nullified an in form side on their own patch and could have scored 5 in a 3-1 win. But we weren't the better side? Speechless.
