And results are all any true fan should worry about, even you must realise we have to get out of this league first time and if by getting a draw at the league leaders means being defensive so be it.

 

Good point that now dilemma time do we recall Doyle or let him go for the right deal hope he carries on and scores against the other teams has that will help out cause.

 

just looking at the BBC stats, kudos to our defence. League leaders kept to 3 shots (do these stats include the penalty?) How long is it since we had a solid defence? Would still like to see more fluent football, maybe he will notice the games that have changed in our favour with the formation changes and trust our defence and go for it from the beginning now.

 

Wont help our cause if we miss out on promotion to Swindon... seems a strange comment that one.

 

We don't have Swindon to play again others do that's my thinking if we get a good deal I would say let him go.

 

It wasn't the best for sure, but with that draw Swindon have not gained on us and that has to be a positive, we're still very much in the mix for an auto place.

 

I know it’s not great but for me that’s Bowyer’s best result of the season

Lets not be silly, its a good point away from but to even think about us deserving the three points is laughable at best. One shot on target does not constitute deserving of three points.

 

Seriously Swindon were average at best today, Bowyer set up not to lose and we did just that.

I've not renewed my season ticket yet and I won't be if we're still in league 2. We're a club worthy of the championship. Shame the people that own and run our club don't agree. Even worse a large portion of our fan base doesn't want that.

 

As 147 said it will be interesting to see if the Swindon lot show up on here, with Doyle they were as toothless as my dead grandad. Not that we were any more of a goal threat but a good point nether the less.

If Wood hadn't made his mistake to give away the penalty, we would have won. We might not have created much but to be fair, neither did they.

I missed the first 15 minutes or so but told it was dire again, the rest of the game as I've posted nothing between the teams, I think it's frustration with most fans but even given the poor football on show from both sides most honest fans would have taken a point from free scoring Swindon at the County Ground.
