    Except that Devine, Anderson and Colville, for all their limitations, do actually look like they are interested. They get forward, they track back, they make tackles. Akpan did none of those against Preston. He just wandered around as far away from the action as possible. He really might as well have not been there.
    I've seen Akpan play well. He can pick a pass, he can head, he can drive forward with the ball. He's doing none of those things at present. He's stealing a wage.

    I was truly devastated when we signed Hopeless Akpan, as I new from seeing him for Blackburn and the Rovers side of the family all laughing at the signing, what a bad player he is.

    He's had one good game in 33 appearances. That's Kai Bruenker levels of bad but without the effort.
