Well Stevenage haven't scored a goal yet and we've kept 2 clean sheets out of 3 so we all know how this one will end.

Hope so. They will have a 19yr old and 17yr old at centre half apparently because of injuries sustained yesterday, so in theory, Vaughan and Donaldson should have a field day.

 

That's if Vaughan plays. I think we might have seen him sustain is first injury of the season yesterday. Having said that, Donaldson and McCartan should have enough between them to terrorise a couple of teenagers

Kyel Reid scored a cracking free kick last time at Stevenage. It was a draw though. 1 nil to us would be fine by me.

 

I think he was just knackered. He was asked to drop back in the second half to help out. 10/10 for doing that but think it took it out of him.

Gary said in his interview that he's had a bit of a cough and cold all week so he was giving him a bit of a rest.

 

Good going on Sat, did show how poor we are in midfield but also shows how strong we are in attack. Hopefully we will get back to back wins first time since *checks notes* December...

 

Dont think he will play Donaldson and Vaughan, especially Donaldson could be rested in his mid 30s, he cant be expected to play sat and Tues. With us not having a replacement for doyle in yet, we have to protect them strikers. Wouldn't be surprised if he played mccartan in behind Vaughan unless we bring another forward player in

Seemed to come on quite suddenly given he'd been like a blue arsed fly all game. We'll really miss him if hes injured, seems to carry the team and is crucial in defence and attack, really leads from the front. I was a bit dubious how good he'd be when he signed, but his class shines through. Gonna be a massive player for us this season

 

Boywer said he just had a cold this week so took him off early

 

I heard that but the way he said it post match sounded like he was saying it to throw people of the scent and to play it down. Really hope thats all it is and hes not injured. Wed be half the team we were on Saturday without him

 

Same team, same performance, same result. Don’t worry about Donaldson’s age.. he runs around like a man in his early 20s and has the energy to do so. It’s start of the season so they’ll be fully fit..
