Exactly. They backed Bowyer against the players and the fans and now have nowhere to go. They can keep Bowyer and look like idiots or they can sack him and look like idiots.

 

Absolutely bang on. Bowyers position has to be completely untenable now but the problems at the club run so much deeper. The transfer window has sent a message loud and clear that Mr Rupp has absolutely zero interest in progression. Sadly for us I think things may get worse before they get better.....

 

There needs to be a review of the management and coaching staff - the players do not look fit enough, motivated or prepared. The number of times we start cold and then concede - give the oppostion the impetus/advantage is getting beyond a joke. As for not sorting out the midfield in the latest transfer window is criminal.

The only way out is if Bowyer gets results - but that's very unlikely. He is a limited manager with even more limited coaches behind him, and even MORE limited characters above him.

No more clueless club leadership, we need to define ourselves from this day forward and aspire to be something more than just a hopeful punt at defending our way to promotion.

Wow we are getting absolutely bombarded now. Three clear cut chances for Oldham in 5 mins.
This is very very bad. The sad thing is, we’ve got three new forwards to bring in, but it’s our midfield and defence that is appalling.

I can see this being 4 or 5 nil.

How do you know the owner has lost faith, I truly dont think he gaves a damn mate, it would mean spending more money to get rid of him
