Seriously that is not funny mate 2,500 fans paid good money to support their team today and once again they let us down badly, I cant defend Bowyer any more, I honestly believe I could get more out of them than Bowyer did today.
So by all means have your bit of fun but it really shouldn't be aimed at City fans for supporting there club/players who once again let them down.

 

Exactly. They backed Bowyer against the players and the fans and now have nowhere to go. They can keep Bowyer and look like idiots or they can sack him and look like idiots.

I just don’t understand the mentality of Bowyer. He’s either incredibly stubborn or stupid. His job is on the line and he changes nothing. Just bizarre!

 

Well that the last two away games I've attended and the best part of the day was in the pub, no excuses now Mr Bowyer your time is up, that was a worse performance than Mansfield Oldham looked like they could score every time the went forward, once again we had no fight no one player could take any credit from that shambles of a display.

I'll be going. This might go against the grain and the football might be dire but its time to get behind them on Saturday. Whether the players respond to the managers call or not is irrelevant, I want an afternoon where I can come away feeling the players have responded to us. 2,000 stood up all game, no sitting down, a proper away day.

The commentators on ifollow spent 10 mins before kick off laying into fans for basically being keyboard warriors and not getting behind the team.

Absolutely bang on. Bowyers position has to be completely untenable now but the problems at the club run so much deeper. The transfer window has sent a message loud and clear that Mr Rupp has absolutely zero interest in progression. Sadly for us I think things may get worse before they get better.....

No mate he's finished, gone, kaput. I can't have him anywhere near my club. I love this club and won't have any manager make us a laughing stock like this clown has. I don't care if we go the rest of the season with no manager and let the players just pick themselves. I am fuming, absolutely fuming as @Bronco saw at the game.

 

There needs to be a review of the management and coaching staff - the players do not look fit enough, motivated or prepared. The number of times we start cold and then concede - give the oppostion the impetus/advantage is getting beyond a joke. As for not sorting out the midfield in the latest transfer window is criminal.

Here’s the really strange one about Bowyer. He’s defensive minded and sets up for draws and one nil wins but doesn’t have a defensive midfielder on his books. That is really weird.

 

I genuinely think that's the poorest team performance I've ever witnessed. No passion, no fight, no pride and all coupled with a manager who seemingly has no idea.

In the interview he constantly referred to Tuesday night's performance as if it was something to be proud of? Really? The only difference was that Cheltenham wasted their chances, it wasn't because we somehow put in an acceptable performance for once.

The bottom line is the players don't want to be here, playing under Bowyer and since we can't get shut of the lot of em as I'd like then Bowyer has to be the one to take the hit instead.

 

I disagree. I think if Bowyer leaves, then so does his back room staff. Right now, we can't even manage the BASICS on the pitch. This is down to coaching. Drury doesn't have the respect of the players, or experience in the game to run coaching sessions. If GB can't see this, then that's why he also has to go.
A new manager, hopefully an experienced one, would bring in his own coaches, an assistant and tried and tested ideas. This team has the ability to be competing for the playoffs, and I believe the correct manager and backroom staff would ensure that happens.

 

I just think he’s a basically decent man out of his depth. We’ve not done him any favours by not letting him bring in a number two but he’s signed more than half the team. What makes a good manager is almost impossible to define but whatever it is he’s not got if. There’s no personality in this team, no backbone, no cojones.
