Cheltenham should have been award 3 points straight away, then you can bet your life they would have played us and this wouldn’t be happening. It would also have sent a warning out to the rest of the football league, instead we probably won’t finish the season as the tactic will be employed multiple times if they get away with it.

I had hoped Baldwin coming in might sort this sort of idiotic nonsense from the EFL out, I know Rome wasn’t built in a day but come on this is basic stuff.

After Holloway’s comments saying Billy Clarke should shut his mouth, can’t wait for this one. He knows the place after his spell there last year, adding a bit of extra spice to the game. A point wouldn’t be the worst result but the win on Sat will do wonders for confidence. It is a really tough decision now and probably not one Ryan was anticipating just over a week ago. My own gut feeling is we have to stick to our guns and go with whoever the CEO thinks is right for the job after the interview process, not just for now, but to have the knowledge and positivity to make the changes that STILL have to happen in January and then complete the overhaul in the summer. Well done to the players for finally showing some resolve and hopefully some of them are now showing they could have a real future at the club, but to make some lasting progress we still have to improve in so many key areas

If I was Cheltenham, I'd be asking questions of the EFl about why their game against Grimsby is off but others such as ours and Plymouth's are going ahead.

 

I get that but there seems to be more to it than that. Grimsby could carry out tests on the rest of the squad like Stevenage did and make every attempt to get the game on but the fact is, their chairman wants the whole season suspending. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Stevenage and their willingness to do everything they could to make sure Saturday's game still went ahead. The noises coming from Grimsby are the complete opposite however, as it seems they are doing everything in their power to get as many games called off as they can. It's a very poor approach from them.
