    Not looking good for Novak according to Mark Trueman, we wont know the situation before Tuesday, so I doubt he'll make the Southend game.

    Shame because Novak pushes up the pitch and clearly that's not really Rowe's strength but if there isn't anyone further up top then everyone crowds round Rowe and the 3 attacking midfielders.

    Seeing Rowe today we need a target man like they had - the lad who battled Paudie all game woukd be a good example, he'd make space for Rowe to drop into and shoot from the edge of the box.

    I don't think Rowe is a natural target man. He looks like he wants to be facing the goal and playing off a front man like Novak.

    He got quite a few from long range at AFC Fylde, some of them free kicks, the videos are knocking around somewhere.

    Must say the update on Novak didn’t sound that great to me from Trueman. Rowe doesn’t look like an out and out centre forward

    As you say he's played a big part in a defensive unit that has conceded twice in 6 games, he will be in the team come Tuesday night unless he picks an injury up before then.

    He said the injury will be assessed Monday or Tuesday and they will know better then. Which usually means long term

    Radio Leeds post match interview, to be fair he gave little away but said it would not be before Monday/Tuesday before we knew more.
    Then acknowledged we had interest in the lad at Oldham, and said he hoped there are more players to come in before the deadline.
