Point away at the top team. Not to be sniffed at at all. Aside from the 68 to 75 minute mark in the second half we had control of it second half just couldn't quite get the goal.
Well done lads.

Straight after the whistle was disappointed with a point, but now the dust has settled, feel happier.
we’d gone almost a month without a game. Cambridge had played six in that time. We could have had our momentum disrupted.
It may well be we are freshened up now for the run in.
We matched them in every respect and any danger the wins before were merely a honeymoon period before are disappearing. We look to have two talented coaches, the players are knocking it about well and we’ve plenty of cause for optimism going into Tuesday.RCarol, Allotment Bantam and JonButterfield like this. -

Today was a really tough test for more than just on-the-pitch reasons - and if our form was going to hit a wall, this was the game - a good League two side, away from home, after a substantial (and frustrating) break. You never know with a new manager bounce if it's just that - a wave of positivity and determination that can't be sustained.
But, after today's creditable draw, it looks like our form could realistically sustain itself a bit longer yet.XCIV_Bantam, borderlescott and Bradford End like this. -

Where I agree with Fordy is that to progress we need to bring in better players to get to where we want to be. The three of them can do a job for now but Clarke and Evans are over 30 now so will soon need replacing.
Cooke is a bit different issue. Despite his looks he is still quite young and like Elliot Watt he looks to me like he can improve and progress his game with the right coaching.Inspector, Faithful Bantam and Rogered Tart like this. -

You would have to ask the BBC about the other issue, doesn't seem a problem for such as Match of the Day. -

A puzzle, this one.
Cambridge, very much inconsistent. 4 defeats in 11 but to Bradford, Stevenage, Mansfield and Oldham. The latter two at home.
Clearly a team with much capability, as their league position suggests. But, was I impressed with them at Valley Parade? Or when I watched them vs Harrogate? Not overly....
A time without a first team game for us. Will this have an negative impact or positive impact... Hard to say.
I'd like to think we keep this game tight. Maybe a time from first team action, may work in our favour as the game draws on.
Prediction, err don't have a clueBotswana Bantam and Asafa like this. -
