    The key point here is the "UNLESS THE CIRCUMSTANCES GIVING RISE TO SUCH FAILURE ARE OUTSIDE OF THE CONTROL OF THE CLUB"

    You can tell me to mind my own business here, and the mods will prob delete this post for taking a subject off on a tangent anyway, but how did you end up in Tallinn, from Bradford, if you don't mind me asking?

    Always fascinated by the stories of how we have gained fans all across the globe! I presume there aren't many Bantams based in Estonia?!

    Back to the game. The pictures on Scunny's Twitter suggest they have cleared the snow. It is forecast above zero through to kick off with light snow showers.

    Could it actually be on?!!!!

    I think somebody said earlier Scunthorpe have significant injuries, but can't find the post now?

    Back to the Talin weather diversion, had a mate from Latvia who hated having to spend winters here, cold and damp, dark, wet drizzle, rather than very cold and crisp, snow and mostly blue sky and sun.

    They had worse problems when the original fixture was scheduled. Honestly, if they get this game on when they couldn't with the original, it'll be ridiculous. Hopefully T&S work it into the pre match team talk.

    Off topic but related in a way.
    I think the people at Carlisle deserve some kudos for arranging their game today to kick off this afternoon rather than tonight.
    As they have said it makes it more likely to be on before the weather gets colder.
    Wonder if the EFL will see the sense in this going forward.

    I suppose changes to match days and start times can only be fluid to a certain extent, much more to it logistically than two teams just turning up. And can't imagine clubs being too thrilled at losing i-follow revenue with mid-week midday kickoffs, for eg.

    You conveniently left the the most important part from that quote.
    “AND could not have been reasonably foreseen or reasonably anticipated and remedied prior to the match.”

    Yes you cannot control the weather but you can PREDICT the weather. And PREPARE for it. I check the weather and dress accordingly. Clubs must do the same otherwise clubs can just postpone games easily.
