Robinson is utter crap. What a terrible signing.

dreadful finishing again, cook included. They missed a couple of sitters. Adams cant moan about a point. Got forward loads but final ball often poor and finishing terrible too

 

That was just a bang average game of league 2 football. Very hard to get enthusiastic watching that.

 

A good point today if we follow it up with two good home performances. Playing Songo at the back seems to be working. When Canavan is fit play him in front of Paudie and him should really tighten us up. But two clean sheets not bad

 

Adams has got his work cut out. That was garbage.

 

No it wasn’t. We battled well, and would have folded in previous seasons. It was a decent away point. We’d have taken that all day long before hand.

 

The result says we did match Newport though.

I’m surprised by the negative comments to be honest. Before the game I think most would have looked at this as a tough game and a point isn’t bad. Yes we lost shape in the second half with the change, but we had chances in the first half. Players to come back in and hopefully the likes of Gilliead, Evans and Robinson won’t be anywhere near the starting 11.

 

Really wanted Theo to do well when he came on (just to bring just a glimmer of hope!). 10/10 for effort, and it's great to see a striker chasing all the way back to our 10 yard area, but sadly he looks like he's just chasing scraps. Fair point that our midfield create absolutely nothing for our strikers, and your heart goes out to him and Cooke, but Robinson just doesn't look the answer to our goal problem. Callum Cooke, imo, has really gone off the boil. Creates nothing, and spends most of the time complaining to the ref.

 

That isn’t our best 11 players so I think it’s difficult to judge until they’re on the pitch. A team of Songo’O and Sutton, Cook & Angol, Vernham & Aisa, Canavan & POC will surely offer more.

 

Think Adams will be happy to hang on in there until he can make his mark in the January window. The possible addition of a loanee will be interesting meanwhile.

 

You sir/madam are very much non league standard at wind-ups compared to Premier league Fordy.

It's not a good look to totally slag off and disrespect the fellow fans who support the club you claim to love. Hey, here's an idea! Go support another club who might give you your perfect dreams.

Fordy often infuriates the xxxx out of me. Then sometimes he really surprises me in a really good way. But he clearly is a fan cares about the club and has a sense of humour. RCB is a grim and malign presence on this forum.

 

I predict that's where we'll be all season - position 7-11, always just needing a win to get into the play offs or just needing a win to push further up the play off places because we lack consistency. We're clearly not going to score lots of goals and will always concede some sloppy ones. There will be lots of draws or one goal margins and we'll always be on that crest of a hope saying "if we win the next one then we'll forget the one we just drew or lost" but I don't think we'll ever be really secure enough in a high enough position.

 

Angol won't play every game when he comes back. His fitness record says he won't. Hopefully he plays more games than Ismail but relying on him is foolish.

Who knows about Eisa. What we do know is none of Gilliead, Vernam, Cooke are going to score anywhere near 10 goals this season so if Eisa doesn't then we'll struggle to get better than mid table.

Again, like previous seasons, in December we're going to say - we're just outside the playoffs, a good window and we'll be fine. But we need goalscorers and we will struggle to recruit them in January.
