Now you’re just making stuff up to defend someone ruining the club. People like you deserve non league you really do.

The group has one investment, Bradford City football club, try harder.

    I did a little research.

Henry C. Staelens is the Chief Executive Officer of Forest Green Rovers - a role he began at the age of just 30 years old. Having left school at the age of 16, and going on to build a career in developing and selling businesses, the opportunity to work at FGR presented itself. Taking the opportunity with both hands, Henry started his professional life in the football industry.
‘My route into football wasn’t a traditional one. I left school at 16, and started in the football industry at the age of 30, having built and sold businesses in between. There has been some property investment along the way too’. https://jobsinfootball.com/blog/henry-staelens/

So given his CV, does it suggest that it is miles ahead of our CEO, especially when he took the role?

I may be wrong but my observations are that Dale Vince is pretty hands on? Is he the type of experienced person that Sparks needs?

But isn’t Dale Vince a very hands on chairman? I imagine he’s learning from him all the time and knows exactly how what his owner wants

He sounds quite similar, but as @How@How and @HUDDERSSBANTAM@HUDDERSSBANTAM suggest, this mould of CEO is ideal for club's whose business model is set in stone, and where the CEO isn't simply left to do everything themselves.

It makes a lot of sense for FGR to have a young, ambitious, atypical CEO working day-to-day with the owner. Experience of running businesses helps, and his education will continue no doubt under Vince.

It doesn't make any sense to me to have someone as disinterested as Stefan Rupp employing someone of that ilk. It would make more sense to employ someone who is experienced in running what they've been asked to run - a football club, rather than just having business experience.

It boggles my mind to think that Rupp brought Ryan in around the same point as he appointed Rhodes, and that was deemed enough for him to learn everything he needed to run the club single-handedly. It felt like Rhodes was here for the blink of an eye that second time. Two and a bit years is no time at all.

From a commercial point of view and tarting things up on the cheap, Ryan is doing a reasonable job, but I think it becomes more apparent week by week that he is completely out of his depth when it comes to the football side of things. That isn't his fault, and I don't doubt for a minute that he wants to achieve success for the club, but my god, does he need an experienced head alongside him to help him do that.
