I’d take that all day long.

 

Last time I went there at Exeter we lost 2 of our main players before kick off sanctioned to the stand and sat behind me binned for drinking night before the game with hats pulled down over the face and then McCall arguing with our fans over the perimeter wall over our performance,
Happy days!!

 

With a break in between. Probably didn’t express myself well enough. We’ve got a clear week, by Saturday, their 8th game in a month, our 4th in the same period. For me, it looks like as good a time as ever to make the long trip to Exeter.

 

In light of BC's injury I'm amending my team for Saturday

It could have been a draw because Barrow played well. Aoc struggled a bit first half against a very good centre forward on the day other than that he has been solid. Of course we signed players to improve the team but it has to be done fairly to maintain the team spirit we have built up

 

Hornby - FCD Paudie AOC Wood - Watt Sutton - Evans Cooke Vernam - Rowe.

I'd rather Canavan play than AOC but if it ain't broke don't fix it 'n all that. I genuinely believe we can beat anybody in this league at the moment so no need to fear them. That said, this run can't go on forever and we are going to lose eventually. I'd take a draw here as long as we back it up with 3 points against Scunny.

 

Well looks like Rory McArdle won’t be playing against us, unfortunately he’s been rushed to hospital with a serious injury after tonight’s game. Hope he will be ok

I have now decided to watch the match rather than listening to my subscribed audio version. Hope I haven't put the mockers on the unbeaten run.

 

Law has left and they may be without McArdle too. Not an easy game, but probably a good time to play them.

 

It's all going well now mate. We could lose against Exeter and then against Scunny then Saunton is fully back in the picture or we might have injuries at in defence.

For me I think we need to see if Staunton can play in back 4 but we can do this once we are fully safe.

I'm not interested in this season. It's all about next season now and I will be looking to ease both AOC and Wood out of the picture giving more game time to those that should or might be around next season. So Staunton should be starting soon enough but no rush, let him fully recover and see what the next few weeks brings.

 

I remember ... as I'm sure other old gits on here do too , freezing my arse off watching Workington Town at home on the Kop with 1000 or a bit more other idiots. Tempus Fugit and so do City. We're in a good place right now. Onwards up the league - hopefully with wins against those above us during the Feb fixtures.

 

If we get 8 or more points mate from the next 4 games then yes I will start thinking we have a chance.

 

If McCall was still here, we were going down. History has shown that, when he goes on his poor results runs, there's just no turning it around.
