Dieng isn't a bad signing for them.

Harrogate town are still unaware if they're allowed to attend matches.

No away or home tickets on sale , no safety certificate .

According to the local press they were given one in April to allow a 5,000 capacity

Their preseason game against Sunderland had to be played behind closed doors last week due to the ground been classed as unsafe. Apparently the Harrogate Council found 17 problems with the ground including CCT not been adequate for crowds. They might have to play Rochdale behind closed doors on Saturday if things haven't been resolved.

According to the local press they were given one in April to allow a 5,000 capacity so that must have been revoked. The kind of thing you would have expected to happen here a while ago !

If they knew they had a problem with safety then wouldn't it have been better to request the fixture to be played at Rochdale to give them more time to get everything in place.

I came past the ground in the last hour, work vans everywhere. Not to judge but someone has slipped up. I know the hoops Paula Watson has to jump over at VP and I have been involved in three issues in the last month, all resolved satisfactorily.
Harrogate may have had a Certificate, which they would need, but that does not mean you can carry on regardless and I know they have been carrying out works all close season so assume the issues lie there. Looking at the Yorkshire Post today there appears to be real doubt about crowds attending but I'm sure they are making every effort. After all they will want the fans to see Rory McArdle won't they oh wise one!!.

That’s a long long detour. I’ve driven that route from Winchester to Exeter and it takes a while on mainly single carriageway roads.
Better hope there’s no caravans out so early

Peak holiday travel day for cars for the year probably?

    I admire the people going

I really don’t know, I’m quite worried about it if I’m honest. But the route you suggest would be like driving Liverpool to Hull without using the M62.
